Delicious & authentic! - Edit
What an amazing experience all around - delicious food & friendly chef who sings and goes table to table to talk to customers! The vegan bolognese pizza was unbelievably delicious and the vegan dessert was good. Enjoyed the fresh bread with spicy olive oil too!

Cozy Italian restaurant with vegan options and great wine. Eclectic decor. The opera bits you will get to experience throughout the evening are beautiful and heartwarming.

Authentic Italian food & song! - Edit
Lovely place for an authentic Italian experience, in the heart of Montreal's Little Italy! There's a spacious & breezy covered patio, where the chef Davide Bazzali occasionally comes out to sing opera. Service is friendly and attentive.
Read moreThere's an extensive selection of wines, including many private imports. I love that the menu includes several vegan options - the pesto gnocchi (29$) was very tasty, with many fresh veggies, and just the right portion size! The table d'hote (57$ for a soup/salad, appetizer, main, and dessert) would've been a good deal if we were hungrier.
It's not cheap, but reasonable for the ambience, location, and quality of the food. Great place for date night or a low-key celebration.
Pros: Clearly labelled vegan options, Breezy covered terrace, The chef that comes out to sing!
Cons: A bit pricy

Restaurant italien atypique offrant des options véganes - Edit
J'ai apprécié le fait de proposer de l'huile d'olive de qualité avec le pain servi en début de repas! La terrasse est belle et la prestation du chef chantant l'opéra fut mémorable.

Great concept - Edit
Il Bazzali is an italian restaurant with an opera kitchen. The chef is an opera singer and sometimes comes in the dining room to sing a few songs for the customers of the restaurant. He is quite impressive! There are 4 vegan options that are clearly labeled including 2 pizzas and 2 pastas. There might be more vegan options that are not labeled, but I didn’t ask. I shared the gnocchis and the bolognese pizza with my boyfriend, both were good.
