Nice vegan dogs - Edit
Love the value here. The veggie dogs are great! The strawberry soft ice is a nice, sweet option as well.

Cheapest vegan meal ever! - Edit
You can eat a vegan meal here for cheap! At the food counter by the checkout buy two veggie dogs (with no honey mustard) and a fountain drink for only $3 or $1 per dog. This is the place to bring your family for dinner and save big. The market inside the store sells pea protein plant balls, veggie balls, and veggie dogs by the bag for very reasonable prices.

Quality Food & Options! - Edit
Loved the new Plant Balls! The old veggie balls were okay but the new ones are amazing. They have really nice flavor & texture. There’s also 75 cent veggie dogs that aren’t bad & some strawberry soft ice that was really good.

Awesome vegan hot dog - Edit
The hot dogs are awesome, and super affordable - $3 for two hot dogs, chips and a drink?! Topped with mustard and cabbage salad, it’s a unique vegan option in Schaumburg.

Vegan hot dogs & vegan meatballs! - Edit
We stopped at the IKEA in Schaumburg, IL just for vegan food. We had not yet tried the vegan hotdogs that are new to the menu at all IKEA Bistros (located near the checkout area). The vegan hotdogs are amazing! First the price - the combo (vegan dog, chips or fruit, and drink) was $2.50! The fruit was a cup of sliced pears. A single vegan dog was a mere 75 cents and they taste amazing! They are served on a bun with pickled red cabbage and crunchy fried onions along with spicy mustard!! YUM! Next time I will get the combo but add on 1-2 extra hot dogs, they are that good and at 75 cents each, why not. We also visited the restaurant upstairs to get a few of the vegan meatball dinners to go. The price for the dinner (vegan meatballs with a tomato sauce, quinoa and vegetable medley) was only $4!!!! These prices are so amazing for the delicious, high-quality food and this is the only listing I've reviewed where the price is truly "inexpensive." PS I also read that vegan ice cream is coming to the IKEA bistros this summer (2019).
Read more***Disclaimer*** I just read online “ IKEA warns that while the hot dog is vegan, bun formulations vary depending on locations and customers should check with their local stores to confirm that its buns are free from animal products.” And it’s nearly impossible to call the store so it’s a matter of asking when you are there, and hoping there is an ingredients list to see if the bun is vegan or not.

Pros: low, low price, awesome gourmet-ish vegan hotdogs, yummy meatball entree
Cons: the bun might not be vegan :(, no vegan desserts really, kinda out of the way
