Solid falafel fare, but tourist prices - Edit
The falafels hit the spot, the sauce and veggie varieties are good, but you’re at a touristy spot so they’re upping the prices on you. Still tasty though!

Great flavourful falafel, tasty pickles and good wrap bread. Ordered with tahini sauce and hot sauce which really made it

Ok if you are at the pier - Edit
Food was a vegan option while at the pier but nothing spectacular. Appreciated having an option though.

Food was good, but other issues - Edit
They didn’t open when they advertise they do.
Read moreThere was no one to actually talk too since you order from a machine. This made it hard to verify what was vegan as the machine isn’t as clear as the menu in labeling.
It was fairly slow to come out.
The food was good tho.

So good - Edit
Got a bowl with falafel; it was fantastic. Was a bit surprised/disappointed that the garlic sauce was not vegan. Everything else was delicious though. Was happy to have a good option while my family grabbed food from elsewhere on the pier.

You'll dream of falafel 🧆 - Edit
Good vegan option on Navy Pier if you can't go elsewhere. I had the falafel pita and it was great. Good fresh ingredients.
Read moreThe staff looked like they would rather be anywhere but there. They mumbled when talking and the cashier had an attitude.
Pros: Vegan items are clearly marked, Good amount of the fillings and sauces are vegan
Cons: Pricey, Staff was giving the bare minimum.

Simple Options Done Well - Edit
IDOF is a simple fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant with great ingredients for vegans. The falafels were great and the couscous was a nice add-on! Vegan options are clearly marked and filling. #Veganuary

If only the falafel had been fresh … - Edit
We ordered a take away box. All sides including dolma were yummie. The falafel however were hard and had clearly been sitting there a while. If they had been fresh, it would have been such a tasty treat. The lady serving us could also not really be bothered explaining anything and just did what was absolutely necessary.

Pricey - Edit
It was ok. On the pricey side. I got the vegan bowl. It was good but for $17 I would prefer to be full.

Super Delicious Falafel! - Edit
After reading the rave reviews, I just had to try the falafel myself. I'm so happy I did because it was seriously the best. I got it with the vegan dream bowl with regular hummus.

Quickly served in front of your eyes. You can skip ingredients you don't like e.g. onions without problem. Healthy fast food
