we all enjoyed our food - meaty and vegan dishes. not a huge menu but enough for everyone. mixed kitchen with eg. falafel/hummus, spaghetti and ricenoodels.

There are also many seasonal menu items, and I ordered the vegan matcha shaved ice 🍧 It was very delicious.

Had an avocado toast this time with a carrot juice at lunchtime. Service was quick, the taste was exquisite, even if a little on the pricey side.

Had a wonderful time at Hyssop! Such a lovely venue with friendly staff and clearly marked vegan dishes. I had the vegan set menu with pasta, and it was all soo good! I also had some corn ice cream with caramel popcorn 🤯 Recommend! 🫶🏻

It was a very good restaurant in the middle of Kyoto with a good atmosphere. There were many vegan options, and the taste and service were very good. When I come to Kyoto, this is a restaurant I definitely want to visit.

Delicious waffle plate with a salad, a yogurt with homemade granola, and some fruits. The ambience is great! Expensive but worth it. Staying at Good Nature Hotel with breakfast included would be more reasonable. If you are planning to stay at the hotel there, let the hotel know your food preferences in advance.
