Ryes best vegan cafe - Edit
Headed here on the weekend and loved all the options. I ended up getting the nachos and they were so good and perfectly mild (can’t handle spice hehe)
Read moreAlso like that they used different things like rocket on their nachos, was a welcomed change.
They had two take away sizes which works so good depending how hungry you are. The staff were really helpful too they also have great eco items for sale also. Great quit options for Xmas presents!!
Can’t wait to come back and dine in when more restrictions lift. Price was so good I got this for $14 and had already eaten a little, couldn’t wait!! 😝
Pros: Gf options , Great prices

Great food and good value - Edit
The first couple of things we chose had run out but we were happy with our back up choices of the tofu satay bowl and cheese and tomato toasty. The tofu bowl was very generous and very tasty and the toasty was just what we needed. Also love that they use metal straws and are very eco conscious.

Definitely visit - Edit
The only thing I regret about this cafe is that we visit it on the last day of our trip. The snickers latte was superb and the waffle bowl was great! Kids would love it too

Excellent food in a nice environment. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Portions were not massive but enough (especially considering how rich the delicious raw cakes were!)

All vegan cafe - Edit
Great to find a 100% vegan eatery in Rye.
Read moreInitially disappointed as we arrived on the Wednesday as on their Facebook they specifically said they were open on a post however when we turned up they were closed. Pretty poor social media posting.
We ate on the Thursday and had the breakfast burrito, pulled 'pork'(jackfruit) burger and chocolate smoothie. Food was all very filling and a good mix of flavours. Very nicely presented too. Burrito is premade and then heated in a sandwich press. Smoothie was a bit expensive at $9 but food was well priced.
Had a banana bread to takeaway which my husband said was ok but nothing amazing.

Beachy ambience, surfy soul, good vibes - Edit
This place is true to the spirit of the location it is nestled in. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and it feels like the right cafe for anyone beachy. Staff are smiley, friendly and chill. And the food and coffee was next level. I had the rice paper rolls which have put my own home made ones to shame! My mum had the pasty and coffee which were both really nice. If I lived any closer I would be there every day!

Delicious, fresh, healthy - Edit
My partner and I came back here on a recent trip to the peninsula. The food is delicious, they use a range of fresh and healthy ingredients, and while the menu isn’t huge, they cater to a wide range of tastes and appetites.
Read moreThey’ve recently cut out all dairy so they’re now fully vegan. There’s a dairy-free milk blend available for those who aren’t fond of pure soy or nut milks.
They have a wonderful, sunny (indoor) area out the back with lots of comfy couches where you can chill out with a book. Plus there’s some sweet vinyl, artwork, clothing, etc you can pick up with your lunch. And it’s only a couple of minutes away from dozens of awesome beaches!
Pros: Fully vegan, Small but wide ranging menu, Reasonably priced
Cons: Nowhere near where I live, Mobile reception is almost non-existent

Surprise vegan getaway - Edit
I wasn’t expecting to find many vegan options on the Mornington Peninsula, but was pleasantly surprised by this cute spot. The food was nice and reasonably priced. I had the jackfruit burger which was great and my partner had the burritos which were a little bland but still quite nice. Service was quick and the staff were friendly.

Excellently excellent excellence (but...) - Edit
The staff here are the sweetest.
Read moreThere's great thrift clothes, ceramic keep cups, local art and products on sale too.
The food is spectacular. Each lunch we ate here over our few days in the area was lovingly prepared and epicly presented in their super cute recently renovated kitchen. Their tofu scramble, in particular, is divine.
The dining area is limited in size but comfortable. There are plans to extend the decking out the back which would help grow this place into a bustling hub, and in summer it would be fabulous.
Coffee is great with plenty of non-dairy barista options including macademia. Their food menu is 100% vegan... but this place identifies as 'plant-based' and they opt for the long-winded meat/dairy/egg-free descriptors on their food referencing. It's a shame they haven't yet confidence in the community to buck dairy and honey entirely, but with time and the rising tide of vegans in the area hopefully this will change.
Definitely worth a long drive to get to!!
Pros: Tofu scramble, Service, Atmosphere
Cons: Dairy/honey
