Also offers sweet potato fries and regular french fries. Most menu items are vegan except for egg. Very casual and food is served in disposable ware. Parking provided. Reported closed to HappyCow.

A complete gem in the valley!

I am in love with hummus king. The small shop in the valley unexpectedly serves up the best falafel, hummus, and shwarama I've ever eaten. The restaurant is entirely vegetarian, and mostly vegan except for a few add-on cheese options.

I highly recommend the fire balls, the jalapeno hummus, and the vegan shwarama sandwich.

Another great thing about Hummus King is that you can seriously get enough food to feed 3 people for about $10. The portions are HUGE.

The restaurant keeps reducing their hours, so I'm worried that they won't be in business much longer. Support this place!

Pros: Great food, Cheap, Friendly

Cons: Limited hours

Delicious hummus and so many kinds

My friends and I read about Hummus King on happycow and decided to check it out. Ate here in January 2011, and here's my review.

I was thrilled to hear that this place is all VEG, even the shwarma. From the look of the menu, everything is vegan except for the hard boiled egg option.

The 3 of us ordered several different things to share. I especially liked the fireball falafel sandwich, $5.95. It was very spicy and delicious.

We also got the hummus sampler, $8.95, served with choice of wheat or white pita. That was hummus heaven for us. There was tahini hummus, olive hummus, tomato hummus, a creamy hummus, and an herb hummus. All the flavors were so yummy.

The tahini salad, $8.75 for a large portion, was refreshing. The plain falafels, $2.50 for a small serving, was tasty as well.

Great place to get hummus, falafel, and your VEG Mediterranean & Middle eastern food cravings. Go!

Pros: good food, fresh taste, friendly & fast service

Cons: food served in plastic to-go ware
