My friend and I decided to try the entire vegan menu and were both a little underwhelmed.

The burger was enjoyable enough, though it was just a Beyond burger, which we felt could be easily made at home for a much lower price.

The hotdog was yummy, though extremely salty. This isn't the fault of Huckleberry though. It's the actual brand Moving Mountain that make such salt hotdogs.

The wrap was listed as “tenders” so I mistakenly thought it would be vegan chicken, but it was just chopped up Beyond burger in a wrap. It was very nice, but I felt could have been more creative.

The nuggets were an abomination. They could have used Quorn vegan nuggets or Birdseye Green Cuisine vegan nuggets instead, they used cheap vegetable nuggets that were soggy and deep fried, filled with some sort of mushy sweetcorn and greens.

The chocolate fudge cake was delicious. Though very dry.

All in all, it was a bit of a let down, but I’m SO happy they’re doing so many vegan options. Fingers crossed they keep improving!

Pros: Good selection, Cheap and cheerful, Easily customisable

Cons: Menu unclear, could use brand names to improve
