Vegan bbq

Some of the best vegan bbq I’ve ever had. I’ve been to homegrown smoker in Portland and this is 10x better. Order online instead of waiting in line!

Pros: All vegan

Cons: Long wait

The best in Houston

You won't even care about the wait when you take the first bite. Got the slices beef sandwich with mac and cheese and potatoe salad. The Mac and cheese is the BEST I've had. 2 years vegan and haven't been a fan of any mac and cheese that I've tried. Potato salad reminds me of what my mom use to make. Honestly don't think you can go wrong with anything you get. I live 40 minutes away and will definitely be making the trip to get more things.

Finally some delicious barbecue!

Barbecue is something that I actually miss since I went vegan. I was happy, then, to discover Houston Sauce Pit, a completely vegan food truck that doles out smoke, spice, and sauce. I tried the pulled jack sandwich, a spicy jackfruit take on a pulled pork sandwich , along with mashed potato salad, sweet baked beans, and roasted corn. It was all great, with just the right amount of spice. Definitely on the return-to list.

Pros: Friendly staff, Online ordering, Specials
