Nice terrace overlooking the river - Edit
This restaurant offers a few vegan options - not much, but more than most other places in the region as far as I know. There is a vegan soup, a curry, a pasta dish, fries and muffins. There are two flavours of sorbet on the menu as well, but they weren‘t available when we visited because it was still out of season.
Read moreWe both had the soup and the fries and enjoyed both very much. Nothing really special, but tasty and well-made. The soup had a slice of bread and also several pieces of big home-made croutons, so it was much more filling than we had thought.
We really loved the location. We sat on the terrace with a view of the Elbe river, and this is the real attraction of this restaurant. If you do the roundtrip hike from the Bastei along the Schwedenlöcher and Amselgrund and back up to the Bastei, this is the perfect place to stop and have lunch or refreshments.

Read moreDas Sorbet beschränkt sich leider nur auf eine Kugel und der Muffin war auch relativ klein, aber es hat beides sehr gut geschmeckt. Für den Kaffee wird auch Pflanzenmilch angeboten.

Haben hier einen Mittagssnack eingenommen. Mein Mann hatte eine Kartoffelsuppe und ich ein Kartoffelgulasch. Nichts besonderes aber wir wurden gut gestärkt und der Platz an der Elbe war sehr schön.
