Restaurante de alto nível com menu a la carte de almoço 100% vegano e preços razoáveis. Nossos pratos foram feitos com capricho, todos saborosos com exceção do spaghetti de pupunha que deixou a desejar no sabor.

Absolutely a gem in Campos. Fresh and well seasoned food! Plenty to choose from! We went for lunch on a Saturday and the all you can eat option was class. My family (all non vegans) left the place happy and satisfied. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Beautiful place and food, one of the highlights of my Brazilian gastro trip so far. Incredible vegan feast!

The name of this restaurant is Alquimia; it's located inside the Hotel Serra da Estrela in the Capivari tourist neighborhood. Alquimia might currently be the only vegetarian restaurant in all of Campos do Jordão.

The restaurant is then 100% vegan during lunch and dinner each day. I ate here a number of times and tried a variety of things from the menu; I thought some of the lunch menu items were a bit hit-or-miss, but the pizzas (only available at dinnertime) were excellent. However, the daily lunch special was also reasonable. They also pride themselves on their vegan fondue (also only available at dinner) which I didn't get a chance to try.
During the week, the waiter kept strongly suggesting that I come back for the all-you-can eat vegan lunch buffet on Saturday. This is where the restaurant really pulled out all the stops. It was dramatically busier that day, and nossa senhora! what an incredible variety of amazing food they put out, with dozens of options (including all kinds of fried stuff, in case you've been having pastel-envy elsewhere in Brazil). Vegan cream cheese. Feijoada. Focaccia. Farofa. Fried bananas. Pasta dishes, rice dishes, salads, cous cous. Caipirinhas. Just an incredible, luxurious selection of Brazilian and Italian specialties in fantastic vegan versions, plus, at least when I went, lovely live guitar music.
Also, the buffet included about a dozen fabulous vegan desserts, including rice pudding, chocolate mousse, vegan jello, and several cakes...
I've been to many vegetarian buffets in Brazil, and this was probably the best one I've ever experienced. The waiter told me that there's also a buffet on Sundays, with a whole different set of dishes (!!).
In sum, if you're in Campos do Jordão on the weekend, don't miss the lunch buffet at Alquimia. You'll also have nice options if you come for some other meal, but really, don't miss the weekend lunch buffet.
Pros: probably the best lunch buffet I've had in Brazil, huge menu, pretty nice ambiance

Sophisticated restaurant with moderate prices. The lunch menu is totally vegetarian with many vegan and good options. According to the staff, they're planning to become vegan soon - it offers meat and dairy at the breakfast time.
