Fantastic food, friendly staff, cute dogs! - Edit
The restaurant is a great place for delicious vegan Swabian food. They make all on their own and experimented for months to get the perfect results for their recipes.

Advance booking is a must, walk-in not possible due to their way of organizing the dinner guests.
They have two huge, very friendly and well educated dogs.

Perfect location for a visit to Stuttgart. Close to several U-bahn stations which will get you to all the highlights in the city within minutes. Best vegan breakfast I ever had in a hotel with homemade cold cuts, cream cheese and scrambled tofu. Our room was very spacious and clean, overlooking the back garden. Very friendly owners and lovely dogs. Don’t forget to make a dinner reservation which is also highly recommended: several regional specialities like ‘maultaschen’ and ‘zwiebel rostbraten’. Everything is homemade, vegan and delicious. The local wines are also vegan.

Rooms are clean and cute. Prices are really low. The owners are a german couple and very friendly. We asked for rooms directed to they backyard. So we had the window open through the night and didn't hear the road.
Its such a nice atmosphere. Not like the anonymousity of a standard hotel.
Breakfast was like vegan continental breakfast. The owner made scrambled tofu for us.
They have two dogs. Very good boys.

The enclosed all vegan restaurant „Köhlerstüble“ offers typical Swabian and German cuisine - usually heavy in meat - the vegan way!
Everything is made in house by the owners, they even offer a German „Rostbraten“ (like a roasted meat loaf) or „Käsespätzle“ (Swabian Mac and cheese).
Highly recommend to enjoy a stay at this rustic and homey place!
