Warm and friendly pub - Edit
We had lunch at this pub whilst we charged our car in Wirksworth. We received a warm and friendly welcome and were pleased to be able to eat in the charming restaurant area even with our dog. Lots of vegan options, I had the tofish and my husband had the burger. Generous portions and lovely food.

Vegan fish & chips - Edit
Lots of vegan options. We had fish (tofu) & chips which was very tasty. Plus chickpea burger & fries. The coleslaw wasn’t vegan so had a salad. It all came on a wooden board, which I am not keen on.

Tasty vegan option in nice pub - Edit
I had the battered tofu with chips and peas; the tofu slab was good quality and a decent size, the batter was also nice and had some kind of seaweed in which gave it a slightly fishy taste! Chips and peas were also fine. They did have a vegan starter on the menu but I didn’t have it, and a vegan cheesecake but they were sold out.
