Serves meat, vegan options available. Hotel, restaurant and bar in a Grade 2 listed building. The restaurant has a range of vegan options including afternoon tea. The online menu is more limited, but there are more options on request by booking ahead. Offers a vegan tagine (on request), vegan bang bang chicken stir fry for starter, pumpkin and sage tortellini, vegan ice-cream and more desserts (on request). Open Mon-Sat 12:00-14:00, 14:30-15:00, 18:00-20:00, Sun 12:00-18:30. Mon-Fri 2-4.30 pm for pre-booked afternoon teas. Also does afternoon tea on Sun.

Amazing afternoon tea - Edit
I've been 3 times now but keep forgetting to list! The afternoon tea here is incredible. I upgraded for more savoury options, which I'd recommend, even though I barely manage half of it! The food is plentiful and delicious, and good value for the standard. It's located nearby to popular walking spots, so there's no snobbery for muddy boots, but equally the atmosphere and service is ideal for special occasions (I've been twice for birthdays, once for mother's day). Great find!
