Love this place so much! The staff and the owner are incredible people. They serve amazing, high quality products and foods. The best vegan chocolate in the market! Their birthday cake butter and peanut butter cups are a must try 🤤 Hans, the owner, is such a lovely man. The food they serve is delicious!

Raw Vegan Eats - Edit
Not currently doing made to order bowls at the moment due to staffing, so we grabbed a couple of pre-made bowls for lunch: Cajun tofu bowl with quinoa, and a Baghdad bowl also with quinoa. Both were pretty good, and we brought them to the nearby beach and ate on a bench with a view of the water. They do have a couple stools at a counter inside and a table for two outside, but there was construction going on just out front. Also had a nice selection of smoothies and other treats, as well as a small section of “grocery” vegan items.

Labeling issue, but good otherwise! - Edit
A great little shop with a small selection of grocery type items and meals to go. I bought some delicious cookies. The only problem I had is that the cookies had pecans in them that were not mentioned on the label. Not a problem for me, but I do have other food allergies so I am hyper-aware of things like this. The clerk immediately corrected the labels by hand and was very apologetic, which was good to see. I will go to this shop again if I am in the area. One star lost for the small selection, and one for the labeling error.

Vegan soft serve! - Edit
We went here solely for the soft serve. The daily flavour was coconut and you could get it in a waffle cone or cup. It was really great, more like a sorbet than soft serve, but still delicious. Everything in the store was vegan, some great food/grocery options too (hello bake-at-home frozen croissants!). Great addition to Sechelt

Went in here for some lunch and smiling on arrival at SOFT SERVE ice cream sign at the door! The smile never left my face the whole time I was there (which was a good couple of hours!) due to the abundance of great local products in store as well as the kindest reception from the loveliest owner!! If you are anywhere on the Coast, mainland or island you should try stop by here

Best Brownies I have ever had - Edit
Stumbled across HooRaw today and loved what it had to offer. My husband is not vegan and loves his brownies. He was blown away he said they were the best he has ever had. We also purchased the smoked Gouda nut cheese and it was fabulous and loved by all. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven’t already. Owner was full of info and passionate about he does.

We stopped for lunch and there was enough variety for the whole family (including gf options). It’s take out food but they had two small tables out front to stay and eat. The cookies are amazing! The ice cream was also delicious. We are definitely going back to try the Buddha bowls as we didn’t try them this time.

A variety of take out options like Buddha bowls, wraps, sandwiches and salads. I had a super tasty Buddha bowl! Also has fridges with local juices, kombucha and vegan products like local faux meat and cashew cheese. Unfortunately it is quite expensive for the portion sizes.

Now that they’ve been open awhile they have more to offer, better pricing and some seating! There’s a table for 2 outside and a counter for 3 inside. The raw meals are a great deal, full full bowl for $11 average.

Stumbled on this gem on the way out of town and back to the city. Delicious soft serve ice cream? ..All VEGAN?! Yay! Relaxed, suuper friendly folks running the place too. My only regret is not buying wayy more jars of those delicious ferments!... It's a great excuse to go back to the beautiful Sunshine Coast though. Always loved it there but now I love it even more because of this fab store!

So glad we pulled in to try the vegan soft serve! It’s a coconut and cane sugar base that tastes AMAZING on its own but then there is a long list of very enticing flavours to choose from also! Such a yummy treat on a warm day! My partner had licorice and I had Chocolate mint! So light, refreshing and flavourful!! I’ll definitley make a trip here next time I’m on the Sunshine Coast!

Now that Hans has an actual store located in the heart of Sechelt, that offers a variety of vegan products beside his own HooRaw brand, I’m over the moon.
