Home Veggie (Batam) - Edit
This place opened 2022 12 03. It's the least expensive eatery I've been to in a long time. The lady is very friendly and smiley, and seems to know what vegan is. Its a pretty short menu based on starch with various accompaniments to add flavour. There isn't a huge amount of vegetable variety involved. The business strategy seems to be keep it simple to keep costs down, and offer her custs cheap veg*an food.
Read moreFood could defo be healthier (it seems mostly fried food). My co-diner and I had Nasi Padang, Nasi Hainanese, a satay and a bottle of water. It cost equivalent of 50 000 IRD.
Wifi worked fine.
Pros: Inexpensive, Vegan friendly, Free wifi
Cons: All vegan is always better, Food could be healthier
