Worse Than Expected... - Edit

I was happy to hear that this well-known local establishment - a relatively vegan-friendly bagel bakery / cafe - had opened a branch in my neighborhood, as the options in South Jerusalem are few. Unfortunately, my first visit was truly a disappointment. While the bagels, spreads and salad bar ingredients are mostly fresh, and look appealing, the service was unhelpful and unfriendly. The bagels were more "hole" than anything else, the spreads were very thinly applied, and the vegetables were added as if one cucumber slice couldn't share space with a piece of lettuce. The sandwiches are anyway more expensive than necessary, but they aren't even generous with the fillings. The seating options are plentiful and comfortable, both inside and outside. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this establishment, especially as there are many identical bagel cafes in Jerusalem that are far better.

Pros: Mostly vegan options for sandwiches and salads, Cute space and nice neighborhood location

Cons: Not at all generous with portions, Overpriced, Unfriendly service
