No longer has any vegan options (at all) as of June 2023 - Edit
We walked here on a recent trip to Albuquerque, thinking the reviews were so positive this place was a sure hit.
Read moreUnfortunately, as the waitress explained to us, Hollow Spirits got rid of their food menu entirely at some point in the last year. There is still food on site, but it's provided by what she described as a "food truck inside the building", which is apparently called "Whet 1324".
This was a walk-up counter inside the building with tablets for ordering (the online ordering is currently broken, so there's no way to see a menu). We read through the menu on the tablet two or three times each in the hope of finding something that could be made vegan, with no luck.
We walked out.

Hi Everyone! We wanted to let you know that Hollow Spirits is dedicated now, more than ever, to providing options for our vegan and vegetarian customers! Executive Chef Tristin Rogers is very determined to provide a dining experience everyone can enjoy! We change our menu seasonally and on the new Spring 2022 menu, he has even created a veganvegitarian section! Additionally, we have 12 menu items that can be converted to vegan or vegetarian! That's the majority of our food menu. Our cocktails are also very vegan-friendly! Only one of our new cocktails contains cream and the few that contain egg white can easily be created without. Egg white is used to create a lite texture and mouthfeel so it doesn't change the flavor profile of any of our cocktails. We hope to see you all in here soon. Adequate vegan options - Edit
I had the gnocchi and tacos, which both showed as having vegan options on their menu. The gnocchi was good, and the tacos were plain and simple but also good. I'd like to see a little more effort put into their vegan options but overall I had a good experience because the drinks were fantastic.

Wow! What a great experience! We were in search of a fun and delicious place to have food in drinks and are so happy we found Hollow Spirits. The staff there were so friendly and helpful and kind. They were very accommodating to our vegan requests and the menu had several options standard available. Very much wish we could have gone here more than once. Drinks we had and recommend: Guava Lava, Lavendar Moon, Hollow Old Fashion, and Pomegranate Vino Mule. All were unique and delicious - made with in-house distilled spirits.

Flavorful options - Edit
The cocktails are creative. Only the main course menu had veganizable options noted (the brunch and happy hour did not). We had to ask the server what the vegan version was for several items. The server was very friendly and checked on anything he was not certain about. The cook seemed very knowledgeable about vegan. Some options simply involve omitting the meat (not mention of charging less). We tried the Beyond burger and tacos, which came with jackfruit. Both were very flavorful. The burger was cooked nicely with vegan cheese perfectly melted over the patty. We added the green chile which was very good. The tacos came in flour tortillas with fresh greens, tangy jackfruit and elote on the side. The server assured us it was prepared without mayo and butter.
