Confusing Vegan Options - Edit
Looking at the other reviews, I had high expectations that the menu would have some vegan options, or at the very least that the staff would be familiar with the offerings. I asked for a vegan option and ended up being served meat, so I had to re-order.
Read moreThis seemed like a typical western-style Chinese restaurant, so I am not too surprised at the lack of familiarity of the vegan options now that I've visited. I was at least hoping the staff would be a bit more knowledgeable on that. They were at least nice even if the communication wasn't ideal, and what I was served in the end did taste acceptable (although given the miscommunication during the first meal I was given, I wouldn't be totally shocked if the replacement I was served also had animal products in a less noticeable form).
Pros: Big menu, so potentially many options
Cons: Server not familiar with vegan options, Restaurant and setting weren't very professional

Vegan pork belly! - Edit
The vegan pork belly is amazing. Highly recommend.
Read moreAlso tried the dai ching vegan chicken + vegan shrimp curry + vegan chicken fried rice. They were not bad but the vegan pork belly really stood out.

Very tasty! You can ask for the vegan chicken to be in any dish used to have vegan beef I wish they'd bring it back

Nice to have the option of Chinese but the food was just okay and cost me $20 for lunch which I though was quite pricey

Super accommodating - Edit
The sweet ladies who work there are super attentive, and were excited to make everything how we wanted. I went here with my boyfriend (who is omni), and he loved the vegan dishes better than “normal” Chinese food, and ended up returning with his family to make them try it! If you aren’t scared of spice, highly recommend the vegan Dai Ching chicken—it’s our favourite.
