Indian style food with quite a number of clearly labeled vegan options. The restaurant was full of Indian customers, must be a good sign right?!

I had the chana masala (chickpea stew), which was very tasty. And they had a bunch of vegan dishes, including a vegan naan.

Delightful finding - Edit
We visited the restaurant mid-July 2022. We didn't find many restaurants offering vegan options close to our accommodation online so finding Himalaya Kök was delightful. The restaurant was a couple of steps below the street level, still with windows and light. The restaurant was cozy and peaceful on a Tuesday evening and we got served right away.

There were several vegan main dishes on the list. I chose saag himali with senapsblad ("mustard wasabina"), spinach, red onion, potato ragu, and it was very nice, served with rice and chutney.
Pros: Friendly staff, Delicious food, Clean and cozy
Cons: A lot of dish options, most with flesh
