Unfortunate find in food - Edit
Originally, I was thinking, this place is a 5! It is centrally located, has super cute atmosphere decorated with a framed artsy khaosan road picture, surfy decore and more, friendly staff, clearly marked vegan menu items-
Read moreThe food came. I tucked into my pad thai and my table-mate their green curry, seriously enjoying the flavors.. until..
Now I normally wouldn't balk at finding a hair in food persay as it is not as gross as omnivore food inherently is, but we weren't sure what kind of hair it was, tucked into the curry-- it looked pretty bad-- and it was hard to go on from that moment. So it went from a would-be 5 to a 2 in a millisecond. We did tell the staff, and they apologized and gave us a free glass bottled beer, to go?
Unfortunately, I wouldn't visit again.

Amazing - Edit
Wish I could give 5 stars (the app won't let me). Their vegan curry is to die for! I also enjoy the noodle dishes. They make tofu taste so good! The owner and servers speak English and they have an English menu with clearly marked vegan options. You can also ask for take out and they package the food in plastic (and reusable!) containers.

Must-visit in Daegu - Edit
I very much enjoyed the Pad Thai and the spring rolls. My friend's food arrived much later than mine so they offered her a free tea. As others mentioned, if all seats are taken you can order food outside and get seated later with your food ready.

Best pad thai I ever had - Edit
We took the green curry tofu and the pad thai tofu as well. Both were amazing. Good quality of food for sure. The waiter directly knew we were vegan and proposed to make everything vegan for us.

Hit the spot - Edit
I liked the atmosphere (very small and intimate) and the staff was very kind. We ordered the Pad Thai, spring rolls, and the green curry and it all had a nice kick of spice to it. Would definitely go back.

A lot of fun! - Edit
I took some work colleagues here who have a range of diets. All were impressed and satisfied. We ended up ordering a second round of entrees to share. I wish they could make all menu items vegan. We’ll see what the future holds. Phat Thai was amazing in all variations our table tried. Green curry was very sweet, but interesting. Non-vegans raved about the Tom Yum.

Cons: Small - recommend off peak visit if possible , Papaya salad and tom yum don’t have vegan version, Needs a HappyCow sticker in the window!

Tasty, Friendly & Flexible - Edit
A small and cozy restaurant. The owner speaks good English and is very kind. The first night we went there we had to wait outside, but not too long and we got a menu so we could decide what we wanted. I got the green curry with rice, all vegan with tofu. Very generous portions. The second time I went for take out, but I could wait inside. Again I got the green curry with rice, but he ran out of tofu. I was off gluten too, so I wasn’t sure what I could eat instead and I didn’t mind he didn’t have tofu so I asked if I could still order it without tofu. He was surprised but said he would add some more vegetables instead. I also ordered a green papaya salad, which was with fish sauce, he had to ask the chef if it was possible to do it without, and it was. When he gave it to me he said that if I didn’t like the salad, I could come back next time and he’d give me something else. Very sweet. I didn’t stay long enough in Deagu to go back again, but if I did have the time I would definitely go back, the salad was great, as was the rest of the food!

Delicious - Edit
I have been two times, and I had the phat thai, green curry, and vegetable spring rolls. I was able to get all of my dishes made vegan. For example, the meat and cow milk could be omitted, and coconut milk and tofu could be added. The owner speaks fluent English. The restaurant is very small with only a few tables so during peak hours there could be a long wait. If there is a wait the owner will give you a menu and take your order in advance so when you sit down the food will likely be ready.

Yummy, quick, polite and flexible - Edit
Similar to previous two reviews here, there was a short wait, as restaurant is small. But owner was very friendly and fluent in English, which made it easy to vegonise our pad thai and green curry. Portions seemed average (neither large or too small), so perhaps they've reviewed portion sizes since last reviewer visited. All in all, a positive experience! For Korea, it's a good Thai option, compared to larger ones I've tried in Seoul and Busan. Hope they expand soon!~^^

Yummy Thai food - Edit
Really delicious and authentic tasting. Big portions and the owner was incredibly friendly. He can speak English well and there are vegetarian options on the menu for every dish. There is always a wait outside as the building is small, but they take your order as you wait so when you’re seated the food is ready!
