Miss Lien Thao - lovely lady offers a range of veg options - Edit
At the food stall, there are different tables with different owners. We went to Miss Lien who offers a wide range of typical Vietnamese or Hoi An Food and veganizes it. So you can try the typical White Roses or Cao Lau. She is really lovely and explains exactly which dish is vegetarian and which is not so you never get confused.

PS we were too hungry, so we just took a picture of the white roses. 🤷🏼♀️
Pros: White Roses, Summer Rolls, Lovely Owner

Small stall but good range of vegan options - Edit
Very tasty food and very friendly staff. The tofu in the clay pot and the morning glory were our standout dishes.

Multiple Vegan option - Edit
Plenty to choose from. Staff have decent English and good sense of humour. Lemongrass and chilli tofu was tops and you can't go wrong with a 500ml Saigon Green!

Cheap and cheerful local food - Edit
This is the first (last depending on direction) stall on a small market strip. They have a vegetarian menu with lots of options. The food is cheap for the area and away from the busy bridge and bars. We ate here twice and tried lots of different dishes, all of which we enjoyed

Lifesaver in the night market - Edit
I thought the night market would have a lot of food stalls but I was wrong, I stumbled across this place by accident and was soo happy to see the menu!
Read moreThe lady was so lovely and understood the concept of vegan which was great! The portion of cao lao was awesome and you can get the steamed version for 25k!! It comes without fish sauce and with tofu and mushrooms instead of the meat- beautiful meal!
We thought it would be small so we also got some tofu in tomato sauce, which came on a huge plate and with a side of rice also, for 40k! Basically way too much food but we couldn’t be happier with the experience, would give 5 stars if i could! Highly recommend!
Pros: Super cheap, Away from the market, Lovely staff

Deserves 5 stars! - Edit
Such delicious vegan Vietnamese food with lots of options. Owner is lovely. She also runs a vegetarian cooking class that involves a visit to the local market to buy produce before cooking- unfortunately we did not have time to do this but absolutely loved the food here. 100% recommend it, especially the tofu with lemongrass and chilli!

Would really deserve 5 stars!!! - Edit
Very very good authentic vietnamese food. Has a complete vegetarian menu. Most of the veggie menu is anyway vegan. Really good taste, fantastic cook, he has really fun cooking the delicious dishes. We tried the papaya salad, fried noodles with veggies, mixee veggies and the tofu in clay pot and we got 2 bananas for free to our menu. It was so delicious and fresh. It is on of the best vietnamese restaurants we've been to.

Mon Chay menu in the "food court" - Edit
The food court is at the end of the quay (past all the restaurants that try to hustle you inside) and is a group of food stands with covered benches and tables outside, so quite basic.
Read moreThere is a bound menu that seems to have all the food made by all the traders in it, and also a laminated double-sided A4 menu headed MON CHAY which has the veggie dishes and photos of the dishes.
We ordered from the Mon Chay menu and tried the Banh Xeo and some noodle and tofu dishes. It was all fine, possibly a little oily but a perfectly good meal for a reasonable price.
Friendly service with limited English.
