Cute cafe - Edit
I find it a very nice café: I really like the neighbourhood and the seats outside.
Read moreThe reason why I go there often is hat I can have a coffee at any time.. in the evening is really hard to find where to get a coffee.
Plus there are always vegan cakes.
(I also find the music they play enjoyable)
Pros: Nice seats outside and cute neighborhood , Vegan cakes, Coffe at any time

Loved it - Edit
Honestly, I don’t know why this place is getting some low ratings. I love the vibe. The food was good and affordable and the staff was friendly. I went on a chill weekend morning and had a bagel with vegan toppings and a flat white with oat milk. It is also laptop friendly and people were playing games inside. I think it is a great neighborhood cafe and I’d go back if I was in the area.

Cozy cute space, not the best options - Edit
I love the space, it's cozy inside and there's lots of tables outside for people watching or reading in the sun. But the coffee is mediocre at best and the cakes are super hit or miss. I keep going, not because I love the drinks or the food but because it's a cute cafe and close to home 😅

Its complicated - Edit
Mixed feelings. Good food. Good drinks. Good coffee. Always different vegan cake options. But the service. Omg that service is so bad. I've been there maybe 6 or 7 times and every time it feels like the people working there are disappointed when someone shows up and orders. Having phone calls while getting orders . Forgetting to bring drinks until the ice is melted. Offering to make new ones and forgetting to bring those to the tables... This seems to be the standard here. Which is sad cause I actually like the place

Cons: the worst service ever, The. Worst. Service. Ever.

Bad service - very basic vegan food - Edit
I just walked in and asked what do they have vegan, the guy instead of replying just made the effort on an annoying way to point the plane menu. The only vegan option was a soup and a basic sandwich. He had an I don’t care attitude. Not friendly.
Read morePros: Nice space for a drink in the sidewalk, Good area
Cons: Lame menu (filled with animals, just 2 vegan opt), Dark inside (no it is not cozy...), Unfriendliness

Totally recommend this place! (but more because of its vibe than its food)

We went in for breakfast to have some coffee, sandwiches and cake. I ordered the vegan options and especially the cake was amazing!

Great cakes & cappuccino - Edit
Perfect place to hang out with a soya cappuccino and a piece of vegan cake. Comfy chairs and sofas, great atmosphere, good music, wifi, a bookshelf - loved it.
Read moreI agree - the one star review is ridiculous. In Berlin (and elsewhere too) you order at the counter at many coffee places, get used to it.
Pros: Large book exchange shelf, Vegan cakes, Great atmosphere

Lovely! - Edit
Two separate areas- a digital and a analog one which is wonderful and can give you you a wonderful working and/or relaxing atmosphere. Really cozy, great tunes and definitely my favorite cafes! worth to check out in this area of Berlin!

a vibey, deep, warm of a gem - Edit
I love Herman Schulz cafe-bar. It oozes comfort, warmth, mystery and spirit. A blast from the 50s, but with wifi. The people who work there are cool and great. The music is perfect, fantastic, smoky jazz, or impressionistic classical, always right on.
Read moreThe food is all freshly made, and you can taste that instantly from the first bite.
Hours can be spent there, reading, talking, playing cards, working on a laptop, you name it. It’s a place to sink into and enjoy the slower, chiller pace of life that may be the nobler way to live anyhow. Maybe not. It’s a good cafe-bar that I really recommend.
And to the one star below.. it says explicitly on the menu to order inside. And by how this space is laid-out and operates, it’s clear that this is probably the only way for the cafe to work... one star is unjustified especially if you didn’t take (any?) time to enjoy it. It’s more than a menu

I did not go in - Edit
On a not-busy at all day, I decided to get a coffee and found this place. I sat down outside while the waitress was sitting and smoking and talking to her friends. I just checked the menu just to find out that I have to go inside to order ? Do you want me to go behind the bar and make my own coffee too?
