Wonderful unique hidden gem

This place has been transformed several times over the last few years. Currently, it is a cafe on the ground floor and a restaurant on the upper floor. You can get coffee and juice in the cool and dimly lit cafe, and perfectly prepared food for lunch or dinner in the restaurant. The menu is small and focused and everything is fantastic. The restaurant kitchen is sort of open-plan style like you sometimes find in a Japanese Izakaya so you can sit around the bar and watch them cook. Note that this is a vegetarian restro, with some items including egg or milk as default. Most things can be modified to be vegan. I only wish they had plant milk options for the coffee.

Pros: unique atmosphere, great food, also has a cafe

Cons: wish they had vegan lattes

Peaceful, interesting food

I stumbled upon this restaurant coincidentally when visiting the nearby temple. Large garden setting, peaceful. Interesting food... Which seems catered to local taste. To foreigners I can not recommend the mushroom salad as it contains sugar; must be a vegan variety of some popular Vietnamese meat dish. The lemon iced tea was also too sweet. The pumpkin soup was good, but the included bread was old. 4 stars for the excellent ambiance.

Pros: Large and peaceful, Nicely decorated , A large menu

Cons: Food and drinks too sweet, A bit expensive

Oasis in the city

From the busy streets you would have no idea that a beautiful, tranquil spot like this exists. Open air setting, water feature, plants, calming music all combine to make you feel instantly relaxed. The menu is extensive and decently priced. The tofu and mushrooms with crispy rice paper was the best Vietnamese dish my husband had ever eaten! The fried tofu, mushroom and okra was fantastic and the spicy noodles weren't spicy but still tasted great. Recommend hunting this one down.

a rustic cafe worth the visit

I wish there were more cafes like this in the city that serve vegetarian in a very unique and comfortable setting. Until then, I'm going to be giving a lot of love to this place.

The prices are a bit higher, though the dishes I've tried so far have all been great. And from looking at their Facebook page, it appears that the menu changes often so they're clearly putting thought into what's coming out of the kitchen.

I think it's the atmosphere that draws me here though. It's far enough from the main street to make it a hidden gem with very little noise from traffic. I usually bring a book, and enjoy an extended meal.

Just be aware that the cafe shuts its doors between 2-5pm to rest.

Best vegan Mi Quang

I'm from Quang Nam and I know how Mi Quang should taste. But since I become vegan, I hadn't found any satisfying mi quang until this place - sadly they sell it only on weekend. The rest is good also. My favorite appetizer is Nấm chiên giòn sốt me (deep fried mushroom dipped in tamarind sauce) and Ngọc trong đá (a kind of vegan croquette).
Don't make the address stop you from going there. It's worth the food :)

Pros: Mi Quang, Peaceful cafe

Cons: Location (a little bit hard to find)
