Fantastic Vegan food and great staff! - Edit
We stopped here after looking for somewhere serving vegan food in Troyes, after a week of struggling to find good food on our travels. This place was amazing, the staff welcomed us in and whilst they could speak too much English, they tried really hard to communicate how positive they were about the Vegan options available plus others they had only just tried cooking for the first time. Our girls had a vegan bacon and cheese omelette (not on the menu) and we had vegan fondue. We over ordered because we were so happy to find somewhere with more than a couple of choices. A fantastic place to stop if you’re vegan!!!

Really enjoyed food here, the vegan pate is really good (faux grois) and the vegan burger was great too. Lots of care taken with preparing, you can see the kitchen, and the person running the place was lovely.

Contrary to the review this place serves meat. We asked them if they were a vegan restaurant and they said vegan, vegetarian, and flexitarian - they serve meat and dairy products.

English is spoken well enough for you to be sure that you are getting something vegan.
I had a really good burger.
Note that we told the staff I was in a hurry with a train to catch in 30 minutes and it took them 20 minutes to make the food so make sure you keep that in mind😄

We had lunch at Hemp Food, would definitely recommend and bring your appetite. Nice selection and a ‘special of the day’, very friendly and helpful staff.

Now they are 100% vegan, offering sandwiches, poutines and paninis.
Dishes come accompanied with a salad and/or chips.
They also have a selling space for CBD-related products.

We stopped by for lunch as this is the most vegan-friendly place you will find in Troyes at the moment.
The menu consists of burgers, french tacos, poutines and paninis.
90% of it is vegan but vegetarian dishes are clearly marked. From what I saw, it seems that the only non-vegan item used in some of the dishes is cheese.
As the name suggests, hemp is used in many of the recipes. We tried two of the vegan french tacos (Lemon & Hemp) as well as the Hemp Poutine and sweet potato fries.
Everything we had was yummy; but the Lemon Tacos and the fries were our preferred dishes.
Portions are very generous and the food is rather nourishing, which makes it a great value (main + side dish costs 8€ ).
The place is run by just one person, who is friendly and eager to talk with you about her restaurant's concept. There is also a small corner with some vegan products like vegan honey, snacks, chocolates and spreads.
All-in-all, a pleasant place for having lunch or dinner if you are in Troyes and you don't mind homemade junk food. :)

This place really really opens your eyes that there is alternatives out there and stands out as the place to go for Vegans in Troyes! Great prices… portion size is generous! This place opened in September of 2021 and really rivals some of the places I know are the best back home in England. It’s a fact that France is behind when it comes to Veganism but if Hemp Foods is the difference. It should be proud. The burger I had was made from Soy, beetroot and wait for it…… algae. It’s not what it sounds like haaa! The taste is unreal for a beef replacement. Mind was blown by the cheese sauce that comes with the poutine! I can’t recommend Hemp Foods enough for anyone that swings by or even lives there and does not know of the restaurant. The restaurant was extremely clean and all cutlery/utensils are 100% recyclable. Extremely happy to have come across Hemp Foods.
Read moreThere are a couple of vegetarian options also on the menu. The menu consists of Burgers (4 Vegan 1 veggie) with Fries. Tacos (which really is more like a burrito minus the rice). Vegan/Veggie Panini. Vegan poutine!! Insane. The poutine was the one!
Pros: Majority Vegan, Portions extremely generous, Value is superb for the great quality.
Cons: No cons. Not even close.
