Best Pizza in NZ - Edit
The original and still the best place to get vegan pizza. A bit more expensive than the other places but it is worth it if you can afford it. Very supportive of the vegan community in Dunedin too.

Say Yes To Hell Pizza.. - Edit
After eating gluten-free, nut-free vegan for awhile (and missing out on a lot of pizza in the process...), we've been occasionally trying to reintroduce wheat. And thought Hell Pizza might be a great way to test. I'm glad we did...
Read moreI had the Sinister (an all vegan pizza that includes refried beans, avocado, salsa, tomatoes, jalapenos, peppers, onions, and no cheese of any kind) and loved it. Great flavor. Very filling. Nice spiciness. It's like eating a giant tostada, but with a delicious wheat crust instead of a corn tortilla.
My wife created her own pizza and wasn't as thrilled, mainly because it was really light on the tomato sauce. From above, you could see the crust through the toppings. It didn't taste bad, it just, frankly, didn't have enough sauce.
Helpful guys running the counter made ordering nice and easy.
Because we were experimenting with eating some wheat, we didn't ask about the GF crust, but you might want to check to ensure that it is vegan. A lot of GF stuff had egg in it. Not sure if this does or not. According to their website, the GF crust might have contact with sesame, but it doesn't mention whether egg is an ingredient.
Pros: Create your own vegan pizza, Delicious, unorthodox set vegan pizza, Friendly staff
Cons: Too light on the sauce!, Only one table for waiting for take-away, Not a sit-down restaurant
