Vegan Supermarket Heaven for new vegan even deli counter

I watched Gary Yourofsky's video, cried, decided to become vegan and then googled vegan supermarket. To find out Haymaker's exists a dream come true.

Their muffins delicious!!!!!

I can’t figure out how to put their phone number but here’s their telephone number ‭(718) 963-0656‬

‭ they now have a deli and you can get an amazing breakfast sandwich and wonderful things to take home highly recommend the spicy potatoes.
Keep changing the seating but you can sit there and relax.
Staff really nice, helpful and kind.

Space is small, lovely and my most favorite vegan supermarket!

They have a bathroom

Pros: kind, fun, professional

Bellissimo!

Everything here is so nicely set out and the people working there are super chill and friendly. The sandwich from the deli counter was delicious. I got the ham and turkey with some added avocado.

nice spot

Cool little spot, actually located on a corner! ;-) has tons of wonderful vegan products at very reasonable prices plus a really tasty deli serving up all the classics in vegan form from sandwiches to by the pound salads. I had the hot pastrami on rye and it was grand! You won't miss meat pastrami one bit when you have spots like this.

Pros: options upon options, delicious deli, kind staff

Cons: so many options! :-)

Just The Cutest Little Vegan Corner Store.

Cute little corner store with all the vegan necessities.
& the biscuits are to die for !
I just wish more people knew about it cause I know the foot traffic in that area isn't the best. This store deserves way more customers.

Best Vegan Deli

About a 15 minute walk from Bedford Ave, this is an amazing vegan bodega. All the sandwiches look incredible. I ordered the breakfast panini with avocado. My sandwich had thick cuts of seitan, tofu scramble, pesto and melted vegan cheese. It wasn't too dry or too oily. The tofu scramble is so good that it is also offered as a side salad option. There were about 4-5 side salad options and they were difficult for me to choose from. I ended up getting some of the brussel sprouts and a bit of the kimchi potato salad. Both were delicious. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because they really need a few more tables. It was raining the day I came in and I would have liked to eat my sandwich inside, but so many people were stopping in, I felt bad keeping the one table to myself. As soon as they add a bit more seating, I will def add another star!

Pros: Delicious Food+Coffee, Nice Staff, Quiet Location

Cons: Not Enough Seating , No Guest Wifi

Cute Vegan Corner Store But On The Expensive Side!

I stopped into Haymaker's with a few other fellow vegans after brunch at Champs and enjoyed browsing around the items in the shop but I wasn't really blown away by anything they carried and was a little sticker shocked by some of the prices. They pretty much carry the standard vegan goods with a few hard to find specialty items like the vegan egg and some seasonal goods. I agree with other reviewers that the space could be utilized in a much, much better way as there was so much more floor space that could have been used effectively to make the shop a go-to store for vegan goods! I really hope they expand the selection in the store because right now I don't think I would go out of my way to shop there since I'm not in the neighborhood and could pick the same items up at Whole Foods for less. Really cute concept but needs better execution!

great vegan corner store

They have some pricey items as another reviewer has said, but most of the items are fairly priced, right at the prices you can get anywhere else. They've got a great selection of snack foods and canned goods. I would love to go back here in the future. Must load up on Earth Balance white "cheddar" popcorn... Omg sooooo good! They store it in the front by the window... Don't leave the store without it!

Cute vegan addition

Came here today after I found out last night that Haymaker sells Yeah Dawgs! The shop is small and really cute. They have all the vegan basics -- "cheese", chips, baking products -- plus some other items that I've only been able to find online, like Phoney Baloney's Coconut Bacon and Vegg.

I do wish the store had more items and prices were a bit more reasonable; however, I'll definitely be back for Yeah Dawgs and all the items I can't find anywhere else.

Pros: Local products

Decent, but not as good as I expected

They have some good products, but I was disappointed for 2 reasons:
1-everything is overpriced
2-at least half the space is empty. They could have a MUCH bigger selection, if they used all of the space.

It was cool to go once, but I doubt I'd go back any time soon.

Pros: All vegan

Cons: Overpriced, Minimal use of space
