Good vegan food - Edit
I had the vegan okonomiyaki and it was good, Not extravagant though. Gluten free was possible, but not Gluten free and vegan. A Little fatty

The experience wasn’t for me. - Edit
Call it my gut instinct but I just don’t trust these places. Yes they say we can do vegan but do they really care enough? Maybe I’m just paranoid and grossed out by the x contamination but my food was pretty bad (udon noodle oko) my husbands was a little better (soba oko). Communication was limited and I dunno. I just don’t vibe it. Tasted like egg. And smelt in there.

Careful - No real vegan options - Edit
When booking a table and informed I was vegan, they say it was okay. However, once I sat down, I double checked the ingredients with them. I showed them the vegan green card (in Japanese) and sadly they told me it was not possible to cater for me... Not sure what animal derived product they use but their vegan options don't seem to be vegan sadly.

Leckeres Okonomiyaki - Edit

Read moreUn grande okonomiyaki vegan 700yen.

Can probably not cater to vegans - Edit
Pretty plain without egg and meat. The pancake part has egg in it. I said I didnt want the pancake part but got it anyway, they probably can't remove it, I dont know for sure though. Cheap.

Cons: Plain tasting, vegan sauce is good though

Loved it!!! - Edit
So I went there based on the recommendation of Happy Cow and was surprised that much of the clientele that night was German. English was the main language used. I speak Japanese so I got to very specifically ask for what I wanted in my okonomiyaki. Sad I can only give four stars because this place went way out of their way to accommodate my needs. Great owner, nice and friendly workers, and food so good I ordered another half order!

Good food - Edit
Was great food, a little confusing to order but they knew what I meant. Nice people but better to call and reserve a table beforehand. Order half a size because it’s huge!

Smoking in the restaurant was a turn off but good vegan meal! - Edit
Easily made vegan okanomiyaki. Only downside is it’s a very small restaurant and people were smoking (a bit near the food) so that was concerning. My Omni partner had a regular okanomiyaki he enjoyed.

Great clean cooking! - Edit
Great chance to experience local Hiroshima speciality vegetarian /vegan! You can indicate which ingredients to not have on the okonomiyaki - no squid ink sauce, no fish powder, etc. Also the chef cleaned the grill and cooking tools before cooking our meal
