Fantastic food

Wow, chow mein and salt & pepper ribs, so tasty. Love this place. The best vegan food at very reasonable prices. Easy to order in advance too so no waiting when you get there.

Pros: Spoilt for choice

Worth travelling for!

What an amazing takeaway this is! Everything on the huge menu is vegan which is a little mind-blowing at first. But don’t worry - you can’t choose a bad meal. The BBQ ‘ribs’ alone are worth driving an hour for and Jane is so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Best Chinese to ever exist!

Despite living in the area I have only found out this exists! Everything on the menu is 100% vegan and so I bought more portions than I would like to admit! It was nice to finally find some vegan prawn crackers as well & I would definitely recommend the ribs as a starter. I got chatting to one of the owners and she was happy to hear I was vegan and she explained how she went vegan when she opened up the takeaway. I am determined to go back and eventually try everything on the menu. I would recommend booking your takeaway in advance as it can be quite busy - thankfully you can phone and book even when the takeaway is closed! Lovely service, amazing variety of food & definitely the best chinese I have ever visited!

Pros: Incredible choice of food, Friendly staff, Great sized portions

Cons: Not in the most convenient area if you don't drive, May have to book to pick up food in advance

Would definitely reccomend

I live so close to here and only just found out it existed! After being limited to what I can eat from a Chinese Takeaway this place has opened up a whole new world! The food is amazing, we tried the 'prawn' crackers, dumplings, salt and pepper ribs, hoisin 'duck' and 'chicken' cashew nut. I couldn't fault any dish, they were incredible! We got to chat with the owner too who explained she opened the takeaway to show people that vegan food can be good and she's not doing it for money (which is why the food is super cheap!!). I would suggest going here, you won't be dissapointed!

Pros: great food, all vegan, lovely staff

Cons: Waited an hr & a half for food due to popularity

Must try!

Can’t believe I’ve lived so close and not tried this place before! The menu has so many options, all the usual dishes you’d find in any omni takeaway, so I was overwhelmed with choice! Went for a house special fried rice, chicken chow mein, dumplings and spring rolls, and will have to order again to try more dishes. Delicious, and my non-vegan partner also can’t wait to order again.

Excellent food, brilliant service

We were really excited when we heard there was going to be a vegan takeaway in Wrexham, and we weren’t disappointed! It’s really hard to choose what to have though. As veggies and now vegan we got used to only having one or two options, so we lost the skill of decision making!
I’ve decided to try something new each time we order.
The owners are lovely, friendly and welcoming. Great service and food.

Pros: Good value , Lovely food, Great choice

Cons: Don’t deliver

Ridiculously good grub

I happened to be on holiday in Aberystwyth, and checked out local vegan food - this was top of the list! Had to take an hours detour on my way home but man was it worth it - it is literally a full takeaway menu like you'd see in any Chinese in England, but 100% vegan! I had vegan ribs, sweet and sour pork, duck, chips and curry sauce - enough for my whole family! Everyone gave it glowing reviews.
I was chatting with the lady who runs it and she's been vegan for a couple of years now after watching Cowspiracy (from what I remember). She is also incredibly lovely, and passionate about animals. Her husband is the chef, and all food is made fresh, so if you turn up without ordering you may be in for a wait. But fear not! The take orders not only over the phone but through social media like Facebook, so you can leave your order with them the night before and pick it up the following evening!
Would absolutely recommend a detour to this wonderful place if passing nearby, but it is also worth a special trip. It's especially good for introducing carnivores to vegan food, or if you're like me, vegans who like meat but love animals even more xo

Eastern Delight

Whilst browsing around on Happycow I widened my search around a location I frequent and stumbled across Harvest Kitchen. There was no doubt where we were going this weekend! I’ve never had the chance to have a lot of Chinese food, due to my egg allergy, and the chances of happening after transitioning to veganism made it even slimmer of a reality, so I obviously jumped at the opportunity to sample some authentic, veganised Chinese foods!

A quaint little take-away in the suburbs on Wrexham, the Harvest Kitchen is a modern, clean establishment. The owner was more than happy to help us choose, and was very enthusiastic about us being vegan too. The menu was excitingly vast, with the main focus being on vegan meats, although thankfully there were a large number of vegetable based meals too which is what I prefer. The dishes were cooked fresh, and they arrived promptly.

As it’s a take-away, and we were a fair distance from home, we ate in the car. My partner ordered the sweet and sour ‘chicken’, with a side of noodles and beansprouts; whilst I ordered the vegetable chow mein. We shared some pan fried dumplings to start, as well as the obligatory sampling of each other’s dishes. As I mentioned before, my experience of Chinese delicacies is limited, but what a way to start this journey. The flavours, textures and ingredients were sensational, for all of our dishes; absolutely delicious! I was so excited to finally be able to try authentic chow mein noodles, they always tend to have egg in, this did not disappoint.

It’s not often I get to say I’ve travelled to another country JUST to go somewhere to eat, but I tell you what, I’d do it again in a heartbeat!

Just perfect!

We are so lucky to have this in Northeast Wales - the perfect Chinese Takeaway! All the different sauces are wonderful, the chef is so talented. Service with a smile from charming Jane in the spotlessly clean shop. If you haven't tried it yet, hurry up and get down to Bradley and give it a go - you won't be disappointed.

You won't want Chinese from anywhere else after eating here!

I heard about this place last week and have already been twice. As a Vegan it's fantastic to have a restaurant with so many options available in Wrexham. The owners are extremely friendly and are vegetarians/vegans themselves. The first time I went they explained there were one or two dishes which were made with egg but with some of these dishes they could make it without. On my second visit they explained they now make all dishes without the egg so the entire menu is now Vegan which is fantastic. The food is unbelievable and the way they have replicated the different meaty flavours is genius. On my second visit I took two meat eaters with me and both of them were blown away by how good this place is. Both actually commented that it was the best Chinese they have had in the UK!! Prices are very reasonable too. Make sure to try a portion of ribs as they are superb! Whether you are vegan, vegetarian or a meat eater, you'll be extremely impressed with this Chinese. Take your friends and show them just how good veggie food can be!

Pros: Excellent quality food, Friendly, accommodating owners, Cheap

Cons: Collection only, Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, Short Opening hours
