Read moreGet your order in early. A couple of times, I've left it too late and had to wait to order another day - but this shows that the business manages expectations and only takes the amount of orders that they are able to prepare each time.
It's definitely a winning takeaway and one I'm happy to recommend.

We have ordered from here many times. Trying one meal is just not enough. With a fully vegan menu, we always end up ordering enough for 6 people. It's all about the taste experience.

We loved this takeaway so much, we ordered two nights running! The food was super tasty and didn't come coated in grease like a traditional Chinese takeaway. The lack of MSG was amazing as we didn't have to gulp tons of water for the rest of the night after eating. Full of flavour and tasted like a home cooked meal. We highly recommend the barbecue pork chow mein, the bbq ribs, crispy chilli beef and salt and pepper ribs 😋 can't wait for a day trip to wrexham so we can go again. Jane is absolutely lovely too 😊

All vegan Chinese takeaway with a very extensive menu. I had the chick’n fried rice and sweet & sour chick’n balls. I wished I’d ordered some more dishes, not because the portion was small but because it was really tasty!
Read moreI was travelling through from Nottingham to Conwy so the preorder and set collection time was a bit of an inconvenience. I would much prefer to be able to call in and order on arrival, but it’s preorder by 3pm only. Nevertheless I enjoyed eating my takeaway on the beach and would try and order again next time I’m passing by.

Harvest was the first vegan Chinese takeaway I had had since being vegan and it was just perfect in every way. I don’t remember it being particularly overpriced but the main downside is purely the location. It really isn’t doable without a car and the opening times can be a little awkward.

Amazing Chinese takeaway, non veg/vegan family said it's the best Chinese they have had. It's not overly greasy/heavy. Its SO good. Ordering sysem is a bit of a faff (before 3pm via Facebook or phone) but totally worth it. Recommend the BBQ pork and all of the ribs!

Fantastic Chinese Food - Edit
This place is so good that we regularly make the journey from Chester just to pick up a take away from here. The food is always great; we are never disappointed, Jane is lovely and the fact that it is all vegan makes it absolutely perfect. Favourite take away in the North West - in fact probably in the country! Only place I know where you can get this type of vegan food with this kind of range. Only wish we lived closer.

A fantastic menu of wonderful, tasty food is well worth travelling for. Soups, ribs, noodles, rice dishes with a a fantastic choice of mock meats.

We have been enjoying takeaway food from Harvest Vegetarian Kitchen for years. Absolutely amazing food and so many options to choose from. Jane makes all the different seitan options from scratch. Well worth the journey to enjoy this wonderful food. We travel around 30-40 minutes each way but keep the precious cargo warm in our electric hot box.

Both my mother (non-vegan) and I thoroughly enjoyed our first meals from Harvest Vegetarian Kitchen and we'll definitely be going back. Pre-ordering by email and paying via PayPal made the transaction a lot easier and safer given the current situation and both the gentleman who greeted me at the door and the lady behind the counter were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was first class, we shared dumplings, spring rolls and salt and chilli ribs to start and they were incredible, the ribs being the highlight! I had the house special kung po with fried rice and chips (beautiful, thick cut, authentic chippy chips) and my mum had the chicken and beansprouts with fried rice. As much as I enjoyed my meal immensely, I'll be trying something different next time as I'm excited to try everything on the menu! My mum has found her favourite dish and will be having the same again.

This is easily the best vegan Chinese food going. I live about an hour and a half away, but this is just so worth the effort. The food is delicious, fresh and excellent value and the staff are amazing.
Read moreI’d especially recommend the crispy chilli ‘beef’, salt and pepper ‘ribs’ and the sweet and sour balls! Even just eating a portion of fried rice with a bit of sauce is absolutely divine. I have no idea how they’ve got the taste and texture of those ribs so perfect- genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever eaten.
When I went veggie and then vegan, I really did not think that I’d ever get really good Chinese takeaway food again, but this place is so much better! It’s now my go to for special occasions- any excuse! It’s also excellent value- because of the distance, I tend to get enough for a couple of days of dinners and some extra snacks. Comes to about £40 for the three of us!
If you’re in the time of covid- staff are brilliant, wearing masks and social distancing by using a table in the doorway for pick ups. Online payment is easy.
