Great Vegan Ramen - Edit
Getting to try ramen in Reno when you're from NorCal can be a big risk, but we swung and Haru definitely delivered.
Read moreI tried their Vegan Miso Ramen ($15) which uses a soy milk and mushrooms based broth, topped with veggies and tofu which makes it a complete meal. The broth was well flavored and my bowl was savory but not too salty. Noodles were great and I loved the amount of veggies we got on top. I got mine at level 4 spicy and wish I had gone a bit higher.
Overall, a very solid vegan ramen option and am happy they offer one in this small town.
Servers were super nice and attentive during our meal and I liked the anime influences with the decor around the restaurant.
Lots of open seats for small groups and a bar for solo diners. Parking is plenty right outside in their lot.

Great vegan ramen, avoid the shishito peppers - Edit
They have one vegan ramen, it's absolutely delicious and a good serving size. However, the shishito peppers are cooked on a shared grill and often touching meat being cooked, so do not recommend ordering that item.

Tasty Ramen - Edit
This ramen didn’t have a lot of bells and whistles but it tasted great and they were very generous with the portions.

Vegan ramen - Edit
They have one vegan dish to offer but the good thing is that it's pretty delicious. Love going here when I have a craving--never disappoints.

Very Yummy! - Edit
Even though there is only one vegan option it's still sooo good and easy to add to if you love certain things. for example, I added black garlic oil and chili sauce to mine to give it a yummy garlic umami flavor and some spice. It's a must try if you are in the area.

Great ramen - Edit
I love Haru's simplistic vibe and decor, and their miso ramen is on par with vegan favorites from the bay area. Food is quick to come out of the kitchen and the service is nice, it's a big place plenty of seating. They have a large variety of alcoholic drinks like sake and wine available as well as a couple of fridges of unique Japanese beverages

Great soup! - Edit
I really enjoyed the vegan ramen, and the shishito peppers were a good side. Not a ton of options, but you only really need one!
