Such a special place - Edit
I am so so glad I made the effort to walk 30mins with my kids to visit this place. What an absolutely incredible, welcoming vegan cafe. I love their whole ethos and how inclusive they are. All the staff were so kind, lovely and attentive. It's such a lovely place to be.
Read moreThe food was all delicious, big portions and very reasonable prices. I definitely over ordered but was happy to take home my leftovers. My non vegan partner said the vegan tofu mayo sandwich would have fooled him into thinking it was egg had I not told him. We also bought cakes to take home with us all and they were all delicious. My four year old is always so excited when she gets to choose from ALL the cakes because everything is vegan.
I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Vegan or not you'll enjoy it and be supporting a great cause too.
Pros: Ethos, Affordable, Big portions

Love the food here and it always comes in fantastic portions. Gorgeous pastries, and a great big feed. Love a deluxe hot chocolate, a shantay you sleigh wrap and a Mille-Feuille.

Cutest cafe in town! - Edit
One of the few fully plant based spots in town, and it's waaay better than the traditional ones! The things they make are quite simple but super tasty. There's plenty of choice of all genres, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I'll be coming back for sure to try all the menu!

We went to Harry's for brunch and took pancakes (Lotus cream and banana) with an English sandwich. Everything was very tasty and good looking. Nice staff and vibes :)

Great selection - Edit
We had difficulty deciding what treats to have but settled on a raspberry and chocolate scone, apple bake and choc brownie, all very good. Friendly service and good atmosphere. Wish this was our local!

I Could Have Stayed All Day - Edit
A little way out of the city centre, but my god it’s worth the trip! As soon as I walked in I was already in quandary as what to to choose, there were so many amazing sweet and savoury treats on offer.
Read moreI finally narrowed it down to a korma pie, a Mamma G burger and a raspberry & white chocolate scone (with jam and butter!). The former two items were best I’ve had of each in a long time and the latter was the best I’ve ever had full stop.
On top of all this, the prices were more than responsible, the staff were delightful and the cafe is doing it’s bit for the community. Deserves more than five stars and I will certainly endeavour to get here every time I’m in the city. The ONLY slight downside is there’s no Wi-Fi, but then again, it allows you to be off your phone and concentrate on the food!
UPDATE: Finally returned after a year of yearning and it was potentially even better!

Best place in all of Northern Ireland - Edit
Harry's is just so good on multiple levels: The menu is varied and creative with fun names for the meals, it's the most affordable of all the places I went to (with decent serving sizes too), there is a large number of amazing cakes, cookies, pies, slices etc to choose from (again, found nowhere else in the city), the food is super tasty, and they employ people with learning disabilities and/or autism. Harry's is just wonderful on so many levels and you feel it when you're there. I wish there was a Harry's in every country.

The best 😍❤️ - Edit
“Inclusive” and “accessible” are but adjectives whose real meaning has been ripped off by the hype. That’s what I thought before stepping into Harry’s door. I was ready to feel abused once more with the trivialization and monetizing of “abnormal” human experiences… but you won’t get any of that at Harry’s. It’s a nice place, genuine to the core, with real people and real smiles and no bullshit… The staff, so incredibly kind and empathetic! And the food, of course…Everything I tried was outrageously delicious. I have been cooking plant based food professionally all my life and I swear their pastries are among the best I’ve ever had. Also, as a vegan tourist in Ireland, I was so happy to finally be able to taste soda bread, as I really couldn’t find a plant based version of it anywhere. What a treat!

We struggled to find a good vegan breakfast in the centre so walked a bit further out. I'm glad we did. Vegan baps for breakfast, nice coffee, clean tables, friendly staff and importantly: good selection of cakes!

Harry’s at 387 - Edit
Congratulations, you’re number one, I’d like to thank you for a job well done!!!! (Condragulations!). I love all the Ru Paul references on the menu and the incredibly lovely staff. The mission/cause of this place is also very heartwarming.
Read moreThe food was absolutely incredible! We ordered the Harry’s breakfast with soda bread (can’t remember the exact name) and absolutely loved it. I’ve never had soda bread before and was quite impressed. The vegan chicken sandwich was also extremely tasty and had a nice crunch on the outside and great texture on the inside.
Only con is the restaurant is only open 4 days a week. Otherwise, we would have stopped by a few more times.
Don’t miss this place!

Uniquely cheering as well as delicious - Edit
This time we were in Belfast for my partner's birthday and at minimal notice Harry's made us a family-sized iced and decorated birthday cake of considerable weight but light on price. Delicious, too, of course. Portion size - I wouldn't call it control - varies from large to huge (sarnies with enough filling for two - the super yeggy tofu seemed to have about half a pound per sarnie) and it's real food, not fake meat out of a chemical factory. I saw one woman with a scone the size of her plate - they had to put the spread and jam pots separately. And the soda farls are out of this world. As for the staff, they're simply fabulous - so enthusiastic and eager to help, delighted to see a new customer rather than the attitude sometimes seen elsewhere. There isn't any other wholly vegan place in Belfast right now anyway. Next time we're over we plan to visit the original restaurant and community centre in Ballynahinch, birthplace of my father-in-law.

Great vegan cafe - Edit
Ormeau Road has a lot of cafes and Harry's is the best one for vegan options, in that everything is plant based.

The best - Edit
My favourite place in Belfast. For a small venue they really have a brilliant menu. My favourite is the tofu egg, but honestly everything I’ve tried is amazing. They add new items all the time, so recently I’ve had the mac n cheeze, wedges and the cauliflower cheeze. The portion sizes are very generous. They have some takeaway items too, like their cheezecakes, soda and wheaten bread plus pies.
