Delicious meals, attentive, open to suggestions

We went to the Happy Vegan twice during the last two weeks and we were perfectly satisfied both times. We have friends who eat lunch there on a nearly daily basis and they are always content.
The menu of the day is inexpensive and consists of dishes that are not regularly on the menu most of the time. Opening hours are pleasingly long from 11am to 3pm and from 6pm to 10pm. The adjacent shop is open until 10pm as well. It features a small but decent variety of vegan food, most noteworthy several kinds of ice cream.
Happy Vegan's whole menu is organic and vegan. Prices vary between 8.50€ and 17€ (menu of the day 11.50€), which is pretty standard for (non-organic!) Luxembourgish restaurants.
Homemade fresh smoothies can be put together at your own preference and are absolutely delicious! We found the food to be only gently seasoned instead of over-salted, which regrettably is rather unusual these days.
Desserts are super tasty as well, I recommend the chocolate cake with nuts along with a scoop of your favourite ice cream flavour and a tasty coffee.
While the food is delicious the variety is rather small, hopefully they will add more options over time.
Suggestions or special wishes are welcome, as are dogs. The owner himself likes to come have a word with you and asks for an honest opinion on the food so they can improve.

Pros: long opening hours, superb fresh & homemade smoothies, tasty food and ice cream

Great new restaurant !

We went with a group of people and so were able to try many dishes. Starters, main and desert. Everything was fantastic. V tasty with lots of flavours. Little too spicy for kids though. Love this place and will take hubby this week too :) I hope that a children's menu will be introduced as well. The shop part is a bit basic but I hope they will increase and broaden their stock as there's no real difference between the happy vegan and many other shops in Luxembourg. It's still early days for the happy vegan but we are already a big fan!!!!

Pros: Excellent food, Fast service, Very friendly staff

Cons: No kids menu, Shop is a bit basic
