Pancakes ♥️ - Edit
The pancakes (Špaldové lívanečky) were very tasty, I especially liked the sweet fresh fruit jam. The gyros plate was ok, for this price I expected this dish to be tastier, something more… But these sweet pancakes made the whole experience very positive, so 4/5

Great small bistro - Edit
Small café with kitchen so you can stop by if you're hungry as well as if you want to just enjoy a cup of coffee. Their vegan selection is very limited (2 cakes out of the entire fridge) and they offer vegan milk alternative for extra money, which I feel should really not be a thing anymore, especially in vege places. Given its location the prices are the higher 'standard'. Other than that the service and food was great. s

Really good - Edit
Really nice spot with vegan dishes. I ordered the gyros with fries, which came with tzatziki sauce and two salads (Greek and cabbage). The dish was tasty, with an optimal portion size, and fresh ingredients. The homemade tzatziki sauce was especially good. Overall, a solid meal and a venue worth visiting.

Arrived late to Prague and couldn’t find plenty of all-vegan options so I was delighted to find this restaurant.

Yummy food!! - Edit
Lots of delicious vegan options - it was so hard to choose just one and the food was so good, so I ended up coming back the next night.
Read moreThe first night I had the spinach tagliatelle and it was amazing!! It tasted so fresh and was so packed full of flavour - definitely the best vegan meal I've ever had.
The second night I had the nachos but was a little disappointed as they weren't nearly as good as my meal the night before. The sauce was yummy, but there was very little sauce with lots of chips so it tasted a bit bland.
My family of 4 all had different meals and they all looked amazing, so I think it was just the nachos that weren't the best.
Happy Bean is definitely a must try if you're in Prague, but make sure you give yourself enough time as you'll want to come back every night!
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Spinach tagliatelle was absolutely divine!!, Friendly staff
Cons: Only one vegan dessert out of a large selection, Nachos didn't have enough sauce for so many chips

Vegetarian bistro with vegan options
Read moreI had the vegan version of “Spelt Pancakes with Forest Fruit Sauce, Sour Cream and Pistachio Lotus Crumble”. It tasted amazing and was beautifully arranged. The food came quite quickly, the staff were very friendly and the bistro itself was nicely furnished.

Little dissapointed - Edit
Little disappointment. We came here for lunch, and there's nothing to criticize about the chef. The food was great, but... the service was inattentive and unprofessional. Instead of working, they were busy to pet guests' dog, and they didn't even wash their hands afterward. Even with half the tables occupied, they struggled to take orders.

Cons: The staff, Mimosa is not made from fresh, but from juice, Not a single Vegan dessert from large selection

Very sweet and delicious - Edit
This place is vegetarian and vegan friendly. Their options for vegan breakfast are limited. The pancakes were absolutely delicious tho. I find their stuff slightly pricey but it's good. The gingerbread cappuccino was amazing (but so small)

Delicious cake - Edit
We popped in for a quick cup of coffee (they have several non dairy milks) but decided to have a nibble too when we saw that they had a vegan raspberry- chocolate cake. It was amazing, and certainly hit the spot! We will be back for sure!

Really great restaurant in Prague - Edit
The food was really great and tasty. I took the gyros salad and the tzatziki was amazing. Only negative point, you can’t be served tap water and they have only the basic words in English (it was complicated to ask some information about a dish). But still very great ! 😁

Tasty food - slow service - Edit
I ate brunch/lunch here on a Sunday with a friend and 8 month old baby. I had a quesedilla, my friend had a "bacon" sandwich with avocado and egg, and we shared sweet potato fries. The quesedilla was good, the sweet potato friends were excellent, expecially the spicy mayonnaise. The sandwich looked a little sad by comparison. We had hod homemade lemonade which felt unusual. I would like to try some other things on their menu, although there is a bit too much of a focus on meat substitutes for my taste (as a lacto-ovo vegetarian).
Read moreThere are plenty of tables and it has a good atmosphere. No highchair for the baby. I've taken off one star for what I felt was slow service. We waited (I think) around 45 minutes from ordering to the food being ready. Sometimes this is ok, but that's a long time with a baby!
Pros: Tasty quesedilla & sweet potato fries, Plenty of tables
Cons: Slow service, No highchair for baby

We stumbled upon this Bistro for lunch and really enjoyed the food. It is in a lovely area and has great indoor and outdoor seating. My group ordered the Quesadilla, Gyros and the Buddha Bowl. Very impressed, all were really tasty and they had lots of on offer that can be veganised. We finished with the pancakes and chia pudding which blew us away and got them 5 stars. Service was really lovely and very accommodating.

Gorgeous gyros 🤍 - Edit
Arrived at Happy Bean hoping for breakfast, unfortunately we had just missed it, but things always happen for a reason!
Read moreI ended up ordering the vegan gyros from their lunch menu, complete with hot salty crispy fries and a refreshing vegan tzatziki. The gyros meat was incredible, crispy on the outside, with an uncannily meaty texture on the inside - I only wish i'd asked how they made it/what meat replacement they used!
With lots of outside seating, perfect for lunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon, it's a fantastic shout for a quick tasty vegan meal.
Pros: Lovely outside seating, Almost all menu items are vegan/vegan possible
Cons: Can be hard to get a seat because it's so popular!
