Yum :)

Generous portion sizes - highly recommend the cheese curry omurice if you like cheese (there’s a lot of cheese). I had the omni luncheon which was fried very well, crispy and delicious. Overall a great place, with extensive veggie options. Vegan (全素) and lacto-ovo with egg/milk (蛋奶素) are clearly labelled.

Pros: Curry rice, Generous portions , Dishes come with miso soup

It gives me the same feeling as the vegetarian restaurants in Japan

The food at this restaurant reminds me of the delicate vegetarian meals I had in Japan—it’s absolutely delicious! I love the plant-based meat they use. Their Japanese curry tastes just like the kind your mom would make at home.

Pros: They offer plant-based meat.

Cons: The space and location are a bit cramped.

Fast and tasty food

Small restaurant featuring a Chinese and English menu. The service was very quick, and I really enjoyed my meal (featuring a fake egg!). I recommend visiting if you are in the area!

Pros: Fast, Casual, Tasty food

Fun and tasty food

Shaved ice in different flavours/ colours makes this a really fun eating experience for kids. Yet I noticed the sign on the door said no children under age 6 allowed! However they allowed us to enter with our 4 year old and baby (I only noticed the sign later on) Not too sure of the reasoning behind this rule.
We loved the food and shaved ice, great to have lots of vegan options even though the restaurant is vegetarian. Kids particularly loved the shaved ices and the vegan eggs. They also enjoyed ordering using the QR code.

Pros: Colourful shaved ice, Vegan options

Cons: Not all vegan, Kids under 6 not allowed (but rule not enforced)

Best Vegan Anywhere

I could live here. Fun place with Japanese seating and normal seating. Lovely, super fast service. Delicious food with all the Taiwanese meals you want to have but would not. We had the spicy "pork" - amazing! Fried chicken better than most. My daughter wants miso soup every day now - it's not too salty here, finally.

Pros: All the delicious Taiwanese food - All Vegan!, Very Clean! Large, lovely place, Japanese style.Ni, Big menu of drinks, desserts, shaved ice, etc.

Cons: Too many choices, must come back a lot! 🤣, My wife may not see me again. 🤣

Delicious mock meats especially Katsu curry

I’m super impressed! This small vegetarian Japanese eatery highlights all kind of dietary restrictions in this spectrum, making it easy to see what’s vegan, lacto or ovo. The menu is in both Chinese and English.

I had the vegan chicken curry and the miso soup for $209 and it was so delicious. It was a good quantity of food that made me satisfied, and with a fantastic crispness on what is meant to look like a chicken drumstick (it’s on a wooden stick for you to bite). The sauce had a texture that was not too thick not too thin, flavourful, and seemed to have a variety of veggies, including baby corn and zucchini.

They also had a plentiful variety of different dishes and ‘meats’ - omni brand vegan luncheon meat (still need to try this, I think it’s like vegan spam?), vegan chicken, ramens, omurice, shaved ice, a large selection.

You order at the till and you are requested to also return your tray when you’re done, making it a casual, easy and fast experience. And you can sit at either tables or on tatami mats!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Delicious food, Nice atmosphere

Cons: More vegan options please!

Bland food

Restaurant is small, maybe 10 tables. Decoration is anime characters. In a small side alley. I thknk they're mostly famous for shaved ice and offer food on the side. They have a menu in English but most options are with egg. I ordered the vegetable one for 169 TWD. Got it after like 5mins with a small miso soup. The bowl was filled to the brim so mixing was impossible. Unfortunately the food tasted very bland, no flavour at all. I was pretty disappointed. Didn't try the desserts though.

Cons: Bland food

Great Place for Photo Taking

The vibe is amazing and many girls like to take pictures here. Some of their dishes are great but some are just plain. They have summer and winter versions of shaved ice so that you can decide the portion. Overall, it's a great dining choice. The tofu ice cream is vegan but some shaved ice contains milk.

Pros: Great Atmosphere, Good-Looking Food, Convenient Location

Cons: Not Completely Vegan, Some Courses Are Plain, A Little Bit Pricy
