Good food but be careful - Edit
I can verify what most reviewers have said the vegan options are good at Hanan- but beware the friendly waitress told us that the items marked with a green star were vegan, they aren’t, or rather some are not, they are Posno which is part of the ridiculous religion around these parts and means no meat etc but does allow fish!! So be careful, the same waitress later told me in English that she is vegan !! So I’m not sure if the mistake was purely linguistic or what!

Pros: Good selection of vegan salads, Not expensive
Cons: Posno not vegan!

This is not related to Hanan and their lifesaving, yummy falafels. Just wanted to clarify the difference between posno (which may contain fish as well as honey) posno na voda (which may contain honey) & vegan which obviously contain no animal derived "products". Hope this is useful!

Best falafel in Belgrade - Edit
Hanan has different locations around Belgrade and remains always my go-to place to fix my falafel obsession.

Authentic food - Edit
Lebanese food with plenty vegan options. Look for 'posno' and skip fish obviously. But posno means no meat no dairy and no eggs. They have menu in english so that is helpfull. Most of starter plates are vegan and dips are authentic Lebanese since the owner is Lebanese. There is one main dish that is vegan. A lot of fresh salads. And falafel is the best one I had in the city.
Read moreI can't go more stars since the place is not fully vegan. But amazing options in restaurant that serves meat.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Falafel and dips are best in town, Great prices
Cons: Not a vegan place
