Each category of food had a vegan option. Lots of mock meat. Really cute atmosphere (floor seating).

Great Korean food - Edit
This is a cute little Korean vegetarian restaurant set in an old Japanese-style house. The dishes that I have eaten here are delicious, and can be easily made fully vegan upon request. You will sit on the floor next to low tables in the renovated interior to enjoy your meal. It is essential to book ahead and the only way to make a reservation is through their instagram or facebook page, as they don't have a phone number. There is no English, so use a translator if you can. You might be able to try your luck and just turn up but it can often be quite busy. I am still rating it five stars as it is a rare vegetarian Korean gem in Hualien.

Busy and cute Korean place - Edit
Very clear vegan/vegetarian labels. Pretty busy when we visited (on a Friday night) I got the “everything plate” （布帳馬車拼盤, not sure what it means) and really appreciated that I got to try a bit* of everything. (The potion is actually pretty big IMO, so more than “a bit”) The place is not big, might be better to make a reservation (we were lucky, we got there early so managed to get a table without a reservation)
