Great street food - Edit
Had the Shawarma Pita Pocket for lunch at Nup to the Cup in Thornbury. So tasty, the Shawarma filling is so good and the Saldana and hummus too it off nicely. I would recommend trying when they’re at the same event you are.

The filling was good, but the pita bread was a little doughy for me. Also, the filling is layered so it was hard to get a bit of everything in each bite (the bowl would have been better in that regard).

Both the shawarma and the chick'aint are tasty and filling. Available in 1kg packs ($25), they go quite a long way when dovided into portions and frozen. Very good on pizza or air fried and put in a wrap. I also enjoyed the garlic sauce but the chilli salsa was a bit too spicy for me.

I've had the vegan shawarma at a market (back in the days before COVID) in a beautiful fluffy pita pocket, filled with fresh salads, humous and pickles. It was amazing and it was devoured. Service was friendly, and they had a few variations of the pocket.
Read moreDuring the Covid lockdown, I have taken advantage of the home delivery they are currently offering across Melbourne and beyond. I bought (a lot) of shawarma, that may be frozen, as well as some fresh chilli. It was so good. Not only have I made my own wraps, pitas and pizzas, I have made curry and pastries as well. So versatile, subtle flavours and the texture is amazing. I believe it is made from chickpeas. They are a pleasure to order from (can contact online).

The house Made faux meat is tender and juicy, the hummus is spot on (beetroot hummus is my fav) and the tahini dressing is just wonderful. I should take a phot of it but the shawarma disappears before i can take a pic😄
Very passionate staff which is evident in the food.

Read moreFresh and soft pitta bread and perfect texture for the hummus. The vegan shawarma is brilliant and super tasty. If you don't want to eat bread you can eat it all in a bowl and it is lovely taste and feels you belly with love and happiness. The owners of the place are a cool sweet couple and I definitely recommend for all the people vegan or not to go and eat this wonderful food. Thank you guys you are the best.
