Great Find in the Catskills

Restaurants in the Catskills where a vegan can get a good meal are rare, so we were delighted to find that the Hamden Inn has good selection of vegetarian items that can be made vegan. The Brussel Sprouts alone are worth a trip to Hamden!! We sat in Adirondack chairs on their front porch enjoying a frosty beer, Brussel Sprouts and fries while taking in the beautiful scenery. Service was great - friendly and fast. This place still retains its charm from 1844, when it first opened. They also have two apartments above the restaurant that they rent out so you can stay here, eat well and explore the Catskills.
