This is a sit down restaurant with not one, but two different vegan patty options: sweet potato and beets with black beans. The food was good but messy. Looking around, I think we were supposed to eat our burgers with the steak knives and forks provided. Good to know this option was close by when visiting Frederiksborg Castle.

A vegan burger worth ordering - Edit
I have a pet peeve about a vegan burger, it’s often the only thing on a menu for vegans and it’s rarely worth ordering. This one breaks that rule!
Read moreThere are multiple options for vegan burgers, different patties, buns, topping, sauces… if you like horseradish at all (I LOVE horseradish) the beetroot patty is the choice for you. Be sure to throw on chili fried mushrooms and the vegan mayo. Ugh, so good.
Their sweet potato fries are a great pairing, naturally sweet but not desserty and great in the mayo.
Large portions, great indoor and outdoor space, well marked menus and free wifi. Centrally located on the walking street.

Wow, what a delicious burger! I had the sweet potato patty (they also have a beetroot patty) served on a bowl of salad with vegan cheddar, onion rings, caramelized onions, pickled onions, vegan mayo, and this delicious potato crust. Wow so so good! They offer two different vegan buns (one of which is gluten free) if you prefer that over the salad bowl I chose😄

Delicious Vegan Burgers - Edit
The Restaurant was easy to find, and we had a pleasant view out of the window. The staff were polite and courteous, and the food was delicious. The only thing lacking was a vegan dessert.

I just made a profile to sing the praises of this restaurant. The app doesn’t allow me to leave five stars, because it’s not a fully vegan or vegetarian restaurant, but they have more than enough quality options for vegans anyway.

I honestly think there were more vegan options than non-vegan! There were three different veggie patties, sauces (even veg-mayo), buns for the burger, fries, you name it.
