I had high expectations based on previous reviews but I was extremely disappointed.
Read moreSome items were marked as “vegan possible” on the menu but when asked they indicated that it was not in fact possible (eg the chicken and waffles). I then opted for a BLT instead, seen in the photo. It came with some pieces of vegetables and two slices of fake bacon (that were clearly store bought). It was almost 10 Euros! The price-quality ratio is seriously unbalanced. I left unsatisfied and would not recommend.
As an aside, the place smells heavily of meat due to seemingly poor ventilation. To be expected when visiting non-vegan restaurants but this is particularly bad.
The staff were very nice though.

I went there only for a drink but I'll definitely come back for the breakfast options. There are many delicious vegan options, the staff is friendly and the interior is inviting. This is one of these places in which you forget that you're actually in a public place, coz it's so cozy and chill. I love it!

Read moreThe London fog was AMAZING! It’s quite an unique item and i definitely recommend it.
Buns were also tasty and next time I’ll try the vegan pancakes or smoothie bowls. Be aware: you need to order at the counter, they won’t come to your table to take your order!

In the fall/winter, this place can smell quite strongly of animal foods, like bacon (due to lack of ventilation). However, in the summer it’s better.
Read moreI tried the veganized BLAT and the Pulled BBQ Jack, which were both quite tasty. The bananabread was very good, because it had a nice banana taste with the right level of sweetness and moist.
The veganized Dark cherry milkshake (unfortunately without vegan whipped cream) and the Hulk smoothie were also quite nice.
Btw, Plenty is in the same street, so if that place has spots left, it’s a better option for vegan brunch since they’re fully vegan.

This is meant to be an eighties space game breakfast place, and they get the atmosphere right. The food unfortunately didn’t hold up. I went here with a friend and we both ordered the pancakes, which we found to be a bit dry, which was a slight disappointment.

It's nice that this place exists as den Haag still doesn't have that many great vegan options. I like that I was able to try the US American pancake combination of bacon and maple syrup. I wasn't the biggest fan of it though. The pancakes are fluffy and yum. The bacon tastes way too much like actual meat for my likes though. The waitress assured me that it was vegan but if you don't like the taste of meat - don't try this.

Different than expected the vegan bacon looked like pieces of caramelized sugar. Tastes are different.

This place is super cute, has a funky retro vibe. The vegan pancakes are great! Not overly sweet and very filling, presented nicely we got the savoury (spinach) and sweet (blueberry) with smoothies. There aren’t too many vegan options to choose from but what we did have was delicious.
