Delicious food & Great Hospitality

This is our second stay at HaHa Vegan Ryokan. We couldn't wait to return as the food is delicious & left us feeling happy & healthy. The accommodation is at the front of hosts property, very private with beautiful gardens & close to great bike trails & walks around Beechworth. I would highly recommend. We will be returning every year 💚🌱

A fabulous getaway

We spent a wonderful weekend here recently. Rico and Osamu made us feel very welcome. On the first night chef Osamu prepared an amazing Japanese feast. It was well beyond what we were expecting. On our second night he prepared a delicious western style menu. They also supplied homemade bread, homemade hummus, jam and fresh fruit for breakfast. There is so much to do in the area including some lovely walks. I definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing escape from the city.

Pros: Amazing vegan food , Friendly, welcoming hosts

How incredible to go away to a vegan bnb where breakfast and dinner is provided?! Plus it's all vegan, Japanese and homemade!! Wonderful concept and a lovely stay in Beechworth.

Warm and friendly hospitality, delicious food

We spent the most relaxing and lovely weekend staying at the ryokan with warm and generous hospitality from Rico and Ossie. They went the extra mile, and even invited us to be at home in their garden and help ourselves to some of their produce. We were invited into their home for two special and lovingly prepared dinners cooked by chef Ossie, while we enjoyed chatting and hearing their stories. Rico looked after us from start to finish. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Highly recommended!!

Highly recommended!! Had a mid week get away staying in the guest house, which was spacious and clean, set amoungst Rico and Osi's beautiful veggie garden.
Rico and Osi cooked vegan some amazing Japanese dishes that night using fresh ingredients from their own veggie garden, we certainly didn't go hungry.

Delicious food, great hospitality

We had a mid-week getaway for one night in Beechy, stayed at the Ryokan guesthouse and enjoyed delicious food hosted by Osi and Rico - such friendly and welcoming people! The surrounding gardens at the guesthouse are lovely and peaceful, and the food was exceptional - so much variety and definitely not left hungry, so much food. Fantastic value for money. The okonomiyaki was a favourite, but all the food was delicious. They also supplied homemade rye bread, homemade hommus and tomatoes from their garden for our breakfast, as well as a large fruit platter and a blender to make smoothies. Highly recommend!
I wish we remembered to take photos of the food but we were too busy enjoying it 😆

Relaxing getaway

Beautiful guest house in Beechworth. The historic town of Beechworth is just a 15 minute walk away. You can also walk to Lake Sambell to go for a swim when it's hot. There are plenty of things to do in the area. And it's such a treat to have Chef Osamu make a special dinner for you! Hosts, Rico and Osamu are lovely!

Pros: beautiful location, excellent food and hosts, lovely accommodation
