Tasty Porridge & Ceasar's Wrap - Edit
We tried several ones of their porriges, all of them were very tasty. The lemon ginger tea is even with real ginger inside and I took a caesers wrap with tofu to go. That one was not just like a regular ceasar's wrap made vagan, but better.

Great place for a hot breakfast with plenty of options to pick from.
Read moreMany vegan options, I opted for the apple and cinnamon porridge while my other half had peanut and banana porridge.
Both were really tasted and filling. Nice size portions for the price.
If you’re looking for an alternative to the standard pastry or avocado on toast type breakfast’s then this is a good option to try.
There are other non-vegan porridges as well.

Nice cozy café with delicious porridge. We had the Apfelkater and Birnenkater which were both delicious. They also had vegan baked goods, we had the banana bread that was absolutely amazing and a hot chocolate with soy milk that was very tasty.

Love that place! Been to the one in Kreuzberg years ago and remember it being rather small. This one in Prenzlauer Berg is a lovely place with plenty of seating. They offer a good selection of vegan dishes. I love their porridge with apple sauce. You can choose between a small or big portion. I also tried two of their vegan cakes and would buy both of them again. Prices reasonable. Restroom available.

Were both very delicious!!! Waldbeerkater is a bit more fancy with the chocolate bits in it. In fact, best porridge I have ever had in a long time!! Trying to recreate it at home, but it must be something about the oats they use, as I just cannot get it exactly the same at home. Guess that's at least one more reason to go there again soon ;) I love that they also sell their granola at their stores. It is quite pricey, but definitely worth it if you like to have porridge on a regular basis.

Haferkater specialising in slow water-cooked porridge bowls (in a large or small option), with most vegan and some vegetarian, including a savoury bowl.
Read moreI love the self-titled haferkater the best, but the applesauce cinnamon one is great too. I always get the big bowl because it's marginally more expensive and I wouldn't find the small one filling enough. I love that they have a loyalty card (7 stamps for a free bowl), good wifi, a large bathroom, and a really nice relaxed environment.
The coffee is also fantastic, with oat milk as an additional extra. They do tea, smoothies, and specialist hot drinks too. It's nice to finally have a properly large sit-down branch of this place.
Great vibe and nice (usually multi-lingual) staff.
