Delicious, filling

The menu we were given didn’t mark anything vegan but as it was listed here we asked. We ended up with a huge pancake with four different dishes on it to share - greens, split pea dish and two other lentil/bean type dishes and a little bit of salad . It was all delicious. The waitress was friendly. It’s a small place with 4 tables and they do take away too. Later I noticed the menu on the wall had lots of vegan marked starters. It looked quite inexpensive but our meal actually came to £34 (including two soft drinks) which was more than I expected looking at the wall menu which had a meal for 4 people for £40. Anyway it was delicious. The toilets were up a staircase which was an unpleasant smelly carpeted stairway and then through a dining area and a kitchenette. Very strange and unpleasant and would stop me taking people here. I would go again myself though as the food was so good and I could see into the kitchen which is always good. I saw some aubergine and other interesting vegan dishes on the menu that I would like to try some time.

Good Ethiopian cuisine

The food was really good, not even that expensive. Just the place was a bit sketchy, and you could only pay with cash when I went there (the good ol' classic "the POS is broken")

Pros: Good food

Cons: Sketchy place, Only cash
