Lots of Good Vegan Options - Edit
Omnivorous restaurant with lots of vegan options. But there are so many options! We ordered the dishes "Harissa Falafel (platten)" and the mix called "Vorspeisen-Teller (orientals)" with the options "4 Weinblätter Gefüllt mit Reis", "Humus", "Makali" and "Kichererbsensalat" (chickpea salad). We were very happy with both choices. If you're Brazilian, choosing just one of these dishes is enough for two people. I found the "Harissa Falafel" dish very interesting because, unlike "Falafel", it comes with spicy seasonings that are incredible. The other dish "Vorspeisen-Teller" was also incredible. The only thing I didn't like was the "4 Weinblätter Gefüllt mit Reis" option. The "Humus" was incredible. The restaurant seemed cozy, you order first, you pay, you have to tell the waiter your name and then they deliver your dish by calling you by your name. It was possible to communicate well in English with the waiter, who was very kind and polite.

Ficamos bastante felizes com as duas escolhas. Para quem é brasileiro, a escolha de um desses pratos, apenas, é suficiente para duas pessoas. Achei o prato “Harissa Falafel” muito interessante porque, diferente do “Falafel”, vem com temperos picantes que são incríveis. O outro prato “Vorspeisen-Teller” também foi incrível. Só não gostei muito da opção “4 Weinblätter Gefüllt mit Reis”. O “Humus” estava incrível. O restaurante pareceu aconchegante, você pede primeiro, paga, precisa dizer seu nome para o atendente e depois eles entregam seu prato chamando-o pelo seu nome. Foi possível se comunicar bem em inglês com o atendente, que foi bastante gentil e educado.

Food is good and very fresh, many vegan and vegetarian options but the falafel can not compare with average lebanese, syrian or arabian falafel from a not so hip space. Salads are tasty but overall it isn't THAT authentic (still way, way better than most other places serving "FALAFEL" not being run by lebanese people) and quite expensive "coz fancy".

Die Wraps sind super und auch die Salate sind lecker (im Vergleich zu den Wraps aber etwas teurer für die Menge). Man hat viel Auswahl als Veganer auch bei den Soßen. Zum Mitnehmen geht meistens auch sehr schnell, man muss nicht lange warten

Große Portionen - Edit
Wer in das Habeez geht, bekommt etwas für sein Geld. Die Portionen der Platten sind mächtig. Die Falafel sind frisch gemacht und die Bestellungen schnell fertig. Die Bediensteten sind sehr freundlich und wer Lust hat auf typisch arabisches Essen, wird hier fündig. Neben den Falafel sind die Pommes sehr zu empfehlen.

Located centrally in Essen's hot spot Rüttenscheid, this is the place to go if you're vegan and love excellent falafel, hummus, fries and salads. About half the menu is vegan and labeled accordingly. The service was nice, attentive and well-informed about veganism. Everything I ate here was beyond average, tasty and spicy, at a fair price though.

Arguably the best falafel in town - Edit
Located right in Essen's trendy neighborhood Rüttenscheid, small restaurant Habibiz made a name for itself by serving super tasty oriental style food. The falafel served here (classic dürüm wrap style or on a plate) is probably the best you can get in this city. There are a bunch of other vegan and a lot of vegetarian options like wraps, salads, hummus and fries - all of which are great as far as I can tell. Both thumbs up!
