Very good rolls, too bad their bakery is all vegan but the rest isn't - Edit
I bought both their kardamom and cinnamon rolls and... ate both in 10 mins as they were so delicious I could not believe it. It's such a pity that they are not 100% vegan...

Waffles! - Edit
Little gem serving so many different vegan pastries, there were a few savoury options too. We had the waffles with homemade nutella, berries and cream. Great coffee to accompany.

Lots og vegan delights - Edit
Update: They no longer have pizza or veggerøre/røkeflaks, but still tons of other options to choose from.
Read moreVegan sandwiches, acai-bowl, chia and a massive amount of baked goods.
Also all their baked goods are vegan. Cinnamon buns, cardemombuns, almond buns, sunshine buns
Lots of vegan sandwiches and brunch dishes. They even have veggerøre and røkeflaks!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Amazing vegan baked goods, Nice place to chill outside in the summer.
Cons: A bit on the pricey side, even for Norway.

Cozy place with vegan pastries - Edit
Went here for coffee and pastry. Nice chill and cozy place but what’s really great is that all their pastries are plantbased. I’ve heard it’s rather trendy and therefore might be crowded, but we got a table instantly on a Sunday forenoon.

Hidden gem - Edit
I was so pleased to find out this place does vegan Norwegian pastries. I’ve been in Oslo for a year and have never been able to try Skolebrød. So sad. But now I can! I went there last week and got a pistasj bolle and a chocolate chip cookie. Really delicious and I will be back!

Best cardamom buns in the city - Edit
Really nice baked goods. Their brunch is targeted more for vegetarians. It would have been cooler to see a more vegan focused brunch menu.

Super vegan friendly - Edit
My new favourite bakery!
Read moreGreat staff and atmosphere. Lots of vegan options, ok prices and super tasty food!
I honestly don’t know why they don’t make this a 100% vegan place. They would get the same amount of costumers - if not more, and Oslo is more than ready for it!

Good pastries - Edit
Håndbakt has some of the best and biggest selection of vegan baked goods, pastries and cookies. The location is super nice in an old industry building with both indoor and outdoor seating. It usually really packed. When it comes to other food they have a small selection of some sandwiches and yoghurt with granola. Two sandwiches and two coffees put us back 300 NOK/26 euro, typical Norwegian prices.

Best bakery for vegans! - Edit
I love Håndbakt for all of their amazing vegan baked goods! This time we had their pistachio bun and cardamom bun, which were both very tasty! I’m never disappointed when I’m there! They are usually very busy on the weekends, but they do take bookings.
Read moreUnfortunately, they charge 8kr for plant-based milk for drinks, which is quite expensive even for Oslo. Also, it’s a bit outdated to charge extra for plant-based milk, especially that much, when oat milk is pretty much the same price as cow’s milk in Norway.

Vegan school bread! - Edit
So many baked goods all marked vegan. The school bread was amazing ( spiced bun with vanilla custard and coconut) amazing to have a vegan version. Also bought a vegan pistachio bun and cinnamon bun. Got it to take away so can’t comment on the rest of the menu. They did have a pre prepared vegan sandwich on the counter which looked good. Buns were expensive but actually cheaper than the bakery in the train station ( non vegan, I just looked to compare).

Good vegan baked goods - Edit
Their vegan options were a bit lacking while I was there, and to be honest, I'm disappointed that they're not 100% vegan, when their bakery is.
Read moreTheir baked goods are nice, though. I was pleased to eat a yummy safran bun, as I still felt hungry after having the granola bowl. (I wish they had gone for Greek style soy yoghurt rather than coconut yoghurt as a vegan option).
UPDATE 02.04.2023
Be aware that like most cafés in Oslo, they can get VERY busy on weekends. Make sure to book a table, no later than the day before. (Norwegians are planners).

Good vegan options🥑
Read moreA bit misleading as they claim to be Norway's first vegan bakery and serve non vegan foods.
As a vegan, I was offended to find crumbs of eggs stuck on my vegan breakfast plate.

Best café in town - Edit
The baked goods are incredible. Vegan cinnamon buns, sunshine buns etc. - it's all perfect. They also serve sandwiches and desserts (including a vegan rice cream/pudding for christmas). In the evenings they serve two types of vegan pizzas. Mind; not everything is vegan, so do ask when you order.
