Sehr schmackhaft, aber ziemlich teuer - Edit
Wir waren zum Dinner im Gutshaus Stellshagen, das als Veggie Hotel gelandet ist.

Vegane Gerichte waren klar gekennzeichnet.
Das Essen hat ganz toll geschmeckt. Es gab ein Salatbuffet (nur durch die Allergenkennzeichnung erkenntlich, ob es sich um vegane Gerichte handelt), Warmspeisen (vegane und/oder glutenfreie Gerichte gekennzeichnet), eine vegane Suppe und ein nicht veganes Dessert.
Auch, wenn es sich um Gemüseküche ohne Fleischersatz und wenig Hülsenfrüchte handelte, hat mir kaum etwas gefehlt, weil die Zubereitung der Speisen sehr schmackhaft war.
Einzig der Preis ergibt für mich einen Grund, weshalb ich Punkte abziehen muss.
39€ für das Abendbuffet fand ich sehr teuer, Getränke kamen noch obendrauf.
Alternativ gab es die Option, nur die Suppe oder das Salatbuffet zu wählen.
Pros: Frische schmackhafte Gemüseküche, Bio und regional, saisonal , Überwiegend gut gekennzeichnet

The service at Gut Stellshagen was friendly and attentive. Dinner is offered in a buffet style. You stand in a queue and you can (but needn't) put your dirty dishes on a nearby tray. This made me feel a bit like being in a youth hostel. Apart from that the food is exquisite! Very tasty, very original. Every dish is labelled (vegan, gluten-free, allergens).You can have homebade bread with your meal, which tastes fantastic. In summer you can sit outside in front of the mansion. This is a vegan's/vegetarian's paradise.

Das Gelände ist sehr schön, die Mitarbeiter sehr nett. Das Hotelzimmer war absolut ausreichend, sehr simpel eingerichtet, aber sehr sauber! Leider waren die Hotelbetten eine Katastrophe. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen wird als Buffet bereitgestellt. Das war auch gut. Nur die Organisation der Gäste war sehr störend, zu viele Gäste für das „kleine“ Buffet.

Probably the best in the area, we had dinner there, buffet style. Great vegan options available, the rest is vegetarian, no meat at all. Nice setting, will stay there next time. Call them in advance if you come from outside.

I stayed at the Gutshaus for three nights while I went cycling in the area during the day, so I needed a lot of food! I ordered half board so I got access to the buffet for breakfast and dinner.
Read moreThe buffet is completely organic and vegetarian and has a lot of clearly labeled vegan and even gluten-free options. There’s not a lot of variety between days as they use fruit and veg from their own farm, so a lot of it is seasonal and regional, which is great! The options are also rather healthy, with most of the warm dishes being vegetable dishes. And for breakfast you can construct a well-rounded porridge bowl with fruit, seeds and nut butters. It’s a liiiitle bit annoying that they use butter and cream in many things, making things non-vegan that could easily be veganized.
I recommend staying at the hotel as a base for activities in the area, the countryside there is lovely.

Stellshagen hat m.E. das beste veg. Frühstücksbuffet, das ich je hatte. Eine so große Auswahl an selbst gemachten aufstrichen, Salaten, aber auch bio-produkten wie nussmus, Marmelade, schokocremes etc., die großzügig nach geliefert werden wenn sie leer sind, hab ich noch nirgends gesehen. Das Brot aus der eigenen Bäckerei ist auch richtig gut. Auch ansonsten ist das Gutshaus sehr schön und ein Aufenthalt lohnt sich - heller Sauna-Bereich mit naturbadesee, großzügige Anlage, Fahrradverleih etc.

A Mecca for vegetarians and vegans - Edit
Wide variety of delicious vegan and vegetarian meals. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all buffet style. Fully organic. Wide selection of salad, antipasti, food for special needs (e.g. glutenfree), home made bakeries and pastries, several main dishes, one soup of the day and one dessert. Wide selection of homemade cakes in the cafe.

Also hotel, but you don't need to stay there to dine in the restaurant or cafe, which are open to the public.
We stayed there twice (5 days each time) and were absolutely amazed about the outstanding food there. If you intend to turn a meat lover into a vegetarian take him there!!!!!
The staff is very friendly and the owner's green and social philosophy makes it a really happy place on earth.
Rates on all-you-can-eat-basis excluding drinks: Lunch 15€, Dinner 18€ (if not included in your room-rate or if you're a visitor). These are very decent prices considering the organic quality and the variety you get.
