Dead company. Do not order. - Edit
I was around when this company first started. They were a good company at that time. Then they did a StartEngine investment project. I was very close to investing, because at the time they were doing a good job. After their investment drive ended, they immediately started making changes. Moved their warehouse to the mid-west. Service started dropping off significantly, as well as their selection. I stopped ordering as often, but would still find one or two products there I couldn't readily get elsewhere. Well I placed an order recently after a long hiatus from ordering from them. I even ordered a couple of products that are just shipped directly from the vendor. It has been over a month and I have not received my products. I reached out to GTFO, and have not received a response. I would warn anyone of using this site in the future. You are likely throwing your money away. Sad really. They had so much potential and they wasted it. I would not be very surprised if the owners took the investment money from those that did, and ran away with it.

Read moreAfter working with the BBB, I finally received a refund via a check in the mail. The whole process was quite the headache. I went to close my account, and it looks like the site is down. Not sure why VegNews still has them as the second best place for online vegan groceries, but I am suspect of VegNews anyway because they promote unhealthy vegan foods, like genetically engineered lab grown foods and other highly processed foods loaded with chemicals.

I ordered a few things for my boyfriend's bday meal that I could not find elsewhere. Since it was cold 'meaty' things it had to be cold shipped. It was a little pricey but not out of step with what I would have paid elsewhere. This is not a weekly or even a monthly thing, more like a once in awhile treat. Some of the stuff on the site is accessible to me at the grocery store so I would rather skip paying shipping obviously.

Do not order from this company! We provided services to them and gave them a long to pay and it was all empty promises. As vegans we wanted to be a big part of a project like this, but it just isn't the one. Find a friendly vegan place that supports their workers!

They sent expired product and refused to replace it. They said it was too expensive to send fresh product so they would only refund. I guess its not too expensive when I’m paying the shipping. So, if I want to get what I paid for - fresh product - I would have to pay the shipping again even though it was their mistake. Take your chances if you want - maybe you’ll be luckier than me and get what you paid for - fresh product.

Amazing Vegan Selection! - Edit
This website is awesome! Seriously they have the best selection of vegan food out there. The even have one of my favorite bakeries I use to go to before I moved. Now I can get it delivered right to my door. The even carry the famous WF orange chicken in bulk

They're very good with coordinating local pickup and it's the cheapest and freshest option with the least oil used. Here's to the day they open physical grocery stores!
RE: people claiming recipe theft of the "everything bagel"... listen, it's a prepackaged vegan biscuit rolled in premixed everything bagel seasoning. Two ingredients, both of them from established brands. My GF and I have been making sesame bagels with this method for months long before I read this page of reviews and found GTFO and blkandvegan posted recipes for this method.
If GTFO were "stealing" a 12-ingredient complex and original masterpiece, I'd better understand the drama. But this is two preprocessed products that I and others have been using in this fashion for a while. So maybe calm down a lil???

Cons: Shipping uses tons of plastic and cold mailers, Pickup presently only available for OC or nearby, If the post delays your order it may melt :(

Ordered from them for the first time last Friday. I work nights at a hospital and plan when I receive items I order so I'll be home and not sleeping. I didn't get a notice that the items had been shipped yesterday. I emailed them today asking if the items are being mailed today. I got no help whatsoever. Their "customer service" is in Nevada and they are in Santa Anna, California. After 3 emails I called, but no call back or email. Extremely poor customer service. Now I'm just trying to get my money back. Update: They emailed and said the order would be here Thursday, which is today. Again no shipping information. I emailed and said if it hasn't been mailed cancel it. I got an email an hour ago stating they just mailed it. So, they lied to me saying it would be here Thursday. When people lie to you like this they think it's ok to do so. The reason for this is direction from the owners. So, if you read this and still decide to order from them good luck!

How have I never heard of this site until now?! - Edit
I cannot believe that I am just now learning about this company! My wife and I have been Vegan for ten years and it's becoming so much easier to find good vegan selections. We have used this site a few times and we will definitely order again. My kids even like a lot of the food we order on there. Our favorite so far have been the cheeses and the poppi "soda".

This is the second review I am making about this company because I am just so thrilled that my father and I have found it. It makes our lives so much easier. My father is newly vegan and he was frustrated at first having to look through all the labels at the store. This is a one stop shop for us now to get all the vegan products we want without thinking twice and they have so many brands that we are discovering and loving. They even sell Siete, which is our personal favorite brand at the moment! The shipping is also pretty quick which is a major plus.

I LOVE GTFO for many reasons!! The variety of products that they carry is amazing, they have over 2,500 VEGAN PRODUCTS from all over the world, wow!! A lot of their products come from small businesses, which is so great because I wouldn't be able to try them without GTFO!!

When I first visited their website, I realize that this was the place I was looking for, for so long. My grocery chains only have limited vegan options. I am loving the variety of products they have on their website (specially the cheese section they have SO MUCH STUFF) I’m a new vegan so it’s been incredible to be able to find all the meat and dairy alternatives in on place, it has made my transition so much easier... and the bakery section makes me want to buy everything omg.

Later I learned that it’s best to order early in the week because of their shipping dates and because how long it takes to process the order, so have that in mind if you’re ordering for the first time!
Honestly I’m super happy with everything... I already have a few things I get regularly, but I always like to add something new to my cart to try it out! 😊

My package arrived frozen and intact basically overnighted from when I ordered. The have a ton of products to choose from and very helpful when I wasn’t sure if I would like a certain product before I ordered it. I get a lot of inspiration from their IG and also love the fact they get some amazing products in. Most online markets have the junk you can get at target that’s vegan. This place has it all!

Dishonest company that deletes negative reviews - Edit
As said in the title, they delete one-star reviews, which leads people to buy products they might not otherwise buy. I was excited to find out about this company and placed an order for more than $100 to try out some new things. One of the products was a $15 package of vegan tuna. It was horrible. Flavorless with an off-putting texture, and the combination of the two made it inedible for me so I threw the whole thing away. I left an honest one-star review saying just that. The only other reviews were glowing, which I found a bit strange. $15 is a lot to spend on one item, so it makes sense to warn others that it might not be worth it. I also ended up throwing away a few other products, including a $15 salmon from the same brand as the tuna.
Read moreA few weeks later I went on the website to see if they had new stuff and I noticed that my review was gone. I emailed them to ask what had happened and whether their policy is to not allow one-star reviews. It took me several weeks and several attempts to get an answer, but they finally said that they had taken it down because "they felt the tone of your comments was not in line with our guiding principles". The tone of my comments was not vulgar or rude, simply honest. They went on to say "You are welcome to submit / submit reviews that take a more constructive tone, something that is both helpful to customers but also not incredibly damaging to the up and coming vendors just trying to make their mark on the plant based community."
In other words, one-star reviews are not allowed because they are damaging to the companies, but they don't have a problem doing damage to their clients by hoodwinking them into spending money on products that they might otherwise avoid. They refused to refund me, saying they don't refund for "personal taste". But it's not about personal taste, it's about false advertising. The products I threw away might have had a bunch of negative reviews that all had gotten deleted.
I won't be buying from GTFO again. In addition to the dishonesty and the bad faith and obnoxious tut-tutting about "tone", I realized that the reason they stock things I haven't seen elsewhere is that a lot of them just aren't good enough to make it into the stores.
(Happy Cow automatically gives a minimum of two-stars for fully vegan or vegetarian companies, otherwise I would have given one-star)

She has worked very hard to build her name & she has done nothing to warrant this. Rather than have an intelligent & professional conversation, they are blocking & deleting comments of those who are respectfully petitioning for her. This is wrong & hurtful, & they really need to do better. How can we support a company who blatantly disrespects us? What do they really stand for?

Recipe Theft - so disappointing - Edit
GTFO it’s vegan has an amazing social media page - where they’ve now showcased an exact copy of a recipe that should have been credited to the original creator. The company is literally blocking people and deleting comments on their post of their exact copy of the recipe. People have remained respectful and merely asked for @blkandvegan to be credited properly, and instead this is the action they’ve chosen to take. I don’t understand why the company wouldn’t support BIPOC in any regard. This recipe theft is extremely noticeable and unfortunately has caused me to never purchase from the company. I can’t imagine I’m alone on that at this point. Not hard to credit the original recipe creator, especially for something so simple. Bizarre and disappointed in this.

I just got my first order. I ordered many products that were not available in my local stores (even the specialty stores). I have already tried several fish-less items that I ordered as well as some vegan cheese. The food was fantastic. I will definitely be ordering again.
