Schmackhaft, hochwertig und preiswert - Edit
Wir hatten das Tagesgericht (Gemüsesoße mit Rosmarinkartoffeln) mit dem Extra (Polenta-Bratlinge) für jeweils 11-12 Euro. Hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Zudem war es sehr gesund und saisonal!😊 Klare Empfehlung!

We had a small lunch at Grüne Kombüse, they have a daily lunch menu with 2 dishes to chose. Food was delicious, and the staff even prapared an extra dish for out 4yo child.

Saitan Filets mit Bratkartoffeln & Pilzsauce wurden es dann, meine bessere Hälfte bestellte ein Curry!
Beides wahr nicht berauschend, die Pilzsauce war an sich lecker aber ich meine Kräuterseitlinge erschmeckt zu haben & die waren zu zäh in der Sauce!
Die Saitan Filets haben wie trockenes Brot geschmeckt, dafür knapp 16 Euro find ich persönlich krass teuer!
Das Curry war lecker, allerdings zu verdeutscht & so schmecke es auch!
Irgendwann werden werden wir aber bestimmt noch mal einkehren & vielleicht ist es dann besser!

Meine Blumenkohlsuppe kostete nur 5,50 Euro und war sehr lecker. Gerichte sind sehr schön zusammengestellt und durch die Selbstbedienung am Mittagstisch geht alle schnell. Gern hätte ich auch noch das Abendessen ausprobiert, doch wir waren nur kurz in Rostock. Beim nächsten Mal unsere erste Anlaufstelle!

Jedes Mal, wenn wir Urlaub an der Küste machen, gehen wir min. einmal hier essen. Jedes Mal überrascht uns ein neues Menü mit leckeren, der Saison angepassten Gerichten. Die Einrichtung ist nicht unbedingt unser Ding, aber man sieht, dass die Betreiber sich viel Mühe gegeben haben, das Beste aus der alten Kneipeneinrichtung zu machen.

Read moreNatürlich kostet der Spaß etwas mehr als bei der Imbiss-Bude um die Ecke, aber vom exzellenten Wasser bis zum Dessert ist hier wirklich ALLES super köstlich und - natürlich - vegan.
Die Grüne Kombüse war übrigens auch unser Hochzeitscaterer (Kuchen inklusive Hochzeitstorte und Abendbuffet) und ich weiß nicht, ob es je auf einer Hochzeit mal so viel positive Resonanz zum Essen gab, trotz vieler Gäste, die sonst ausschließlich fleischige Speisen verzehren und eher skeptisch waren.
Ich hoffe, die Grüne Kombüse bleibt Rostock noch lange erhalten!
Pros: bestes Essen der Stadt, alles vegan, selbst das verdammte Wasser ist großartig
Cons: hier zahlt man natürlich bissl mehr als bei Vegang

Eine wirklich rundum gute Erfahrung. Wir haben uns einmal durch das ganze Menü gefüttert und können sagen: alles ist lecker. Es wird aber recht mild gekocht, was einige freuen dürfte. Um dem zu entgegnen ist aber an jedem Tisch Salz, Pfeffer und scharfes Öl - super! Super nette Bedienung. Wenn ein paar Leute dort sind und man sehr hungrig ist, unbedingt eine Vorspeise einplanen - es dauert ein bisschen bis zum Hauptgang.

I like the restaurant a lot. Tasty vegan food. One of only a few restaurants in the city wich are totally vegan. Changing menu due to saison all food. They even have a streetfood place at the marketsquare from Tuesday to Thursday in August. Maybe even longer. Tried the Gemüsepuffer - yummy!

We decided to take a last-minute weekend trip to Rostock, and luckily our Airbnb was almost around the corner from here. Our host had also independently recommended it. We went on a Friday night, and luckily found a place to sit at a table with another couple, it was packed, even at the bar. There was an acoustic hip-hop duo that were playing live, so that might have been why. The food was delicious! The menu changes often to accommodate for seasonal ingredients. They were a bit understaffed, so the service was a bit slow, but also very friendly. I don't think they were expecting that many people. I really recommend the tempeh-taler to start out with...the sauce that came with it was amazing, and the tempeh is made from lupini beans, which is a nice alternative from those wishing to avoid soy. The ambiance is also really nice, like a traditional German pub. They have a wonderful selection of teas as well. We'll definitely go back during our next visit to Rostock.
