Lots of vegan buffet options! - Edit
We went in the evening and had a nice plate of tasty vegan food! Included rice, Indian dal, a beet/carrot/sunflower seed mix, quinoa & eggplant salad, and some bread. We also tried the vegan desserts and they were excellent! Coconut-chocolate date balls and a soft banana bread - yum 😁 They also had a vegan soup we didn't try but looked good.

Cons: Low on some items in the evening (rice, dal)

Good place - Edit
We did not get to take eat the buffet. We however had café latte with rice milk and a vegan chocolate quinoa beetroot cake. They have organic vegetables and Fruits they sell. There was vegan soup and some some options in the buffet are vegan. Ask the staff on the vegan options. I actually just walked it and was surprised they had vegan options being. It felt good. They do serve meat and dairy though.

Delicious, friendly, cheap! - Edit
Gronsagen offers a buffet in Christinia. It is very affordable by Copenhagen standards, and most of the options are vegetarian, with some being vegan.
Read moreI filled up a small place with a nice variety and took my seat. I enjoyed it so much I went back for more!
It's a small place so I had to share my table, which I was happy to do, it made for interesting conversation!
They also had organic fruit and veg on sale.
Pros: Nice variety, Friendly staff and customers, Cheap!

Friendly vibe, but serves meat - Edit
I was here too late in the day (around 6-7pm), and I will probably visit again and be there earlier some other day.
Read moreI do like the area, and it's nice to be able to eat vegan in Christiania, but unfortunately the staff wasn't very knowledgable - there was cheese in the beet salad, which he forgot to mention and the chickpea salad "might have some dairy".
They did have a great selection of bottled juices though - rhubarb... mmm.
Pros: Pay by weight, Good selection of bottled organic juices, Cozy environment
Cons: Serves meat, Not knowledgable staff

A Little Gem - Edit
Was here on a past trip to Denmark, and here's my Gronsagen review.
Read moreIt's a nice little find. From the outside, the shop looked small and dim, but when we walked further inside, we found a bigger room with many more fresh produce selections and a food bar.
Good selection of fresh vegetables and a small selection of fruits. Mostly organic.
Worth a try.

Serves meat - Edit
Grøntsagen is a fine place to buy your fresh, organic vegetables. However, they unfortunately serve meat, so if you - like me - don't want to eat food prepared in a meat kitchen, then walk the couple of hundred meters down to Morgenstedet...
