Small Menu But Authentic Flavours

Went for a family celebration lunch and got a private room to eat, which was nice! The room itself probably could do with a bit more decoration to match with the rest of the restaurant, which had this very charming British-style motif, with phone boxes, mail boxes etc. It made it stand out.
Menu-wise, they keep it small and that's a bit unusual for a mostly Chinese-style restaurant here but it's an approach I definitely encourage. The small menu definitely had things you would want to eat on it, even though there were probably too many Western items, none of which looked particularly well-done, mediocre burgers and directionless fries etc.
However, once we got to the noodle/rice dishes that we ordered, things were much better, well-made and flavourful. Their three noodle options, for example, are very close to being authentic and would highly recommend these. The sauces are gloopy, sticky and just yum. Really enjoyed ordering all of them and mixing and matching with the family. The Nasi Lemak was very solid, too.
Even though the menu items aren't the most high-end, effort is made to present them well. They were good looking plates of food.
Price-wise, can't complain. Everything was pretty much between 15 and 20 MYR and large enough that you can get away with ordering just a couple. Personally, I think the menu could do with some more pure vegetable options, the sort you'd get in most Chinese restaurants, as with the noodle/rice dishes, there weren't that many actual vegetables on the plate and I would've been happy to pay a little extra to get some.
There are so many restaurants like this in Subang but this is a good one and I'd happily go back to eat there.

Pros: Focused And Well-Delivered Menu, Prices Are Reasonable And Fair, Decor Has A Unique/Personal Touch

Cons: Lack Of Vegetable Side Dishes, Too Many Uninspired Western Options
